Assalamoalikum everyone,

Recently I was following the updates on Origin and saw announcement of BETA 9.0, I took this opportunity to once again forward our case of including Pakistan in Origin. Here is my post in which I also mentioned the old thread created by user tgb87 sometime ago.

Below is the official reply to my post from EA Community Manager

"I just recently joined the team, but I can tell you that your issue falls under the general category of our team working towards getting players from various countries around the world into an appropriate store and payment method. While we may not have a store specifically for Pakistan at this time, that does not mean it's out of the question.

I recently opened up the following thread trying to gather answers from our players around the world, as one of my goals since landing on this team is to make the entire payment and browsing process easier on everyone. If you could please head to this thread and answer the six questions as a reply in that thread, it will go a long way towards solving these issues.

EA Forums

I should also point out that this process could take some time, so please don't go in expecting a change overnight, but it's something that myself, and the team here at Origin, are actively investigating and working towards turning it into a more positive experience.

I also want to apologize that there had been no official response in that other thread you linked for so long. That will not occur from now on."

I think it is a good response from an official person, so I opened the thread he mentioned in his reply and answered his questions. I say you guys also visit his thread and answer these simple questions so that they can see we do have numbers and we really want Origin in Pakistan.

Hope we will get Origin in Pakistan soon InshaAllah.

Assalamoalikum,

Thank you for the encouragement everyone and I sincerely appreciate your time and effort in visiting the thread he mentioned and answering those questions. By doing that we can show them that they are loosing good amount of potential customers by not including our country in the list. Keep up the good work guys! :)

@Wolfy

I understand bro and I am not mad at you, I know that in corporate environment pretty much every response from an official is a "PR Lollipop". The thing is they won't commit or promise anything to you or simply put they won't show too much interest in your problem but if they are listening that means they know that there are some customers who are not satisfied by their service or product and that is exactly what we want, that is why I constantly mention "Steam" in my posts so they can understand that there is better alternative out there. Staying quiet about the issue won't solve it, even if it's a lollipop that won't stop us from saying what is right. Origin is a global online store and every country should be able to access it, cutting out one country entirely is their weakness and we are just pointing out their weakness.

Apart from that the thread he mentioned is not only for Pakistani customers, there are other customers from other countries who also cannot access Origin and they are collecting feedback about such customers. So if they won't do anything about it then it will further damage their relations with those customers.

my dear brother thank you so much for such an interesting comment and your worthy views i would say whether its a sweet lollipop or a sweet chocolate candy it still gives us courage it sounds great and tastes even better lovely, i always believe in one true Golden Quote

Where there's a will there's a way

and in this case the new member in team Electronic Arts who has just newly joined the administration might be in favor of Pakistan And bringing Origin Store to Pakistan because in my point of view these huge big companies always work for there own profits there needs and there favors, Pakistan is becoming famous for its gaming users and it will rise to shine

i think if they atleast make it possible to make any arrangements for the payments made easily through bank transfer .. then more than 50% problem will be solved ..
