[NEW FEATURE] Say Hello to "GfyCat" -- Embed Huge Gifs like a Baws

A World without Gifs? Pointless. Everyone is a fan of gifs, but some restrictions may de-motivate them from making or sharing their own. This particular hurdle was made easy with GfyCat. For those of who don't know what that is, "GifyCat compresses and converts your Gif image into HTML5 Video". And the result? Well ... let me share an example.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) - Web Swing Spectacle (Uncompressed) || Size: 40MB​

HOW TO EMBED?

1. Upload any gif you want to GfyCat, and take its URL. I'll take the same GfyCat URL which mentioned above, as an example:

http://giant.gfycat.com/FlatTerrificLabradorretriever.gif

2. You will need the file name, mentioned in the URL (without .gif extension). For example, from the URL Above, it will be: "FlatTerrificLabradorretriever"

3. Use following BB Code (without space in 2nd [/gfy]):

[gfy] <<< insert gfycat file name here >>> [ /gfy]

4. Example:

***For those of you, who make an account at GfyCat. They can see their uploads as follows. You can see the (GfyCat assigned) Names. You can copy the name directly from there. (The image's "actual name" can be assigned manually, and can/will be different from your custom assigned one)***

***** To Save in your PC ... you will have to go to Open the Gif (Now HTML5 Video) in GfyCat website. From there, you will have to select "Gif" which you can them save in your PC easily. You can also choose to save HTML5 Video File as well *****

I am not sure if it can be enabled on vBulletin, because even for GFYCat, we had to introduce new tags (

Ofcourse not, they are both different providers..it's like you are asking "can I check my gmail.com emails on yahoo.com mail service"? gfycat is more than enough since both provide the same compression levels.
