Net Neutrality: Another lash out in internet monopoly

So apparently I guess no one here cares what is happening around the world, especially when we are busy with Islamabad road blockages or Supreme court final order regarding PTI members. Well leaving these things behind lets take on another big problem the whole internet is about to face. If you guys are not aware then the next big problem internet is going to face is NET NEUTRALITY. First of all for those who want to know what it is then the following video simply explains it:

But why should we care? The answer is, it will effect our daily browsing and some services as they will be slowed down by the ISP. In order to access those sites we might have to pay extra paisa to ISPs for fast browsing or site accessing. For more information just google and you might find information at better speed :laugh1:

So the latest news regarding net neutrality is FCC overturns net neutrality regulation, an interesting turn around the corner. Still things will go to court now I guess and some bad games will be played.

It really means nothing for anyone outside the USA, and very little even for those in the USA. There is so much unnecessary hype about this issue. Net neutrality was established merely two years ago by the FCC. This means that the internet for Americans will still be the same as it used to be 2 years ago. For those outside the US, there is nothing to worry about, since the FCC's jurisdiction lies only in the USA. Even when the net neutrality law was introduced two years ago, it was only applicable to ISP's in the USA. ISP's outside USA could still put content behind paywalls if their local laws allowed them to. Therefore, for us Pakistani's, nothing will change. We will still be able to access all websites without any ISP paywalls.
