Need suggestions for a good psu

Hello,
I am building a pc it will be a budget pc with something like a 4460,1050ti,s340 i am looking to buy a power supply under 8,000pkr that won't pop the whole system like corsair vs series does I've read psu threads on forum but am still confuse I'll upgrade my system to z370/390 next year so I'll be using same case,psu so i want a reliable psu any suggestions will be appreciated

I would usually recommend Corsair Power Supply. But as i read next line i got confused that it burns the whole system... Kinda Strange been using there PS since ages. Never once in my life i faced that nor i heard it. You are the first person i am hearing about that.

Anyway, If you dont like like Corsair then go for "Thermaltake 650W Smart STandard 80 PLUS Bronze." or "EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 Power Supply"

Note: In case of Power Surges no PSU can protect your PC. So, have Stabilizer or APC UPS attached to PC for Protection.

Thermaltake smart series and corsairs vs series are not meant for gaming pc's so stay away from them.

I'd buy this one if I were you. Antec makes some really good PSU's Corsair is also very good but I wouldn't trust the VS Series tbh. stay away from thermaltake smart/lite series and cooler master

Why not Get RM or CX series from Corsair PSU.

Corsair GS series is ok as well. Have it for a couple of years and I use my system pretty roughly. Didn't even had a stabilizer until recently.

RM, CS, CX, and VS.

These are low quality, bottom line piece of shits that are only meant to fuck your PC hard.
Well, not all the time but.. stay away. Never a good thing making bad decisions. Especially for long term.


If you do want to get Corsair...
Get the RMx series. Really expensive though, but its worth it.
If you can get your hand on the older GS series, thats not a bad decision as well.
GS is still miles better than the above mentioned series.

The Antec one that was recommended is good too.
550W, yes but its a good supply so can still supply you enough power at peak. (Still wouldn't do it if i were you)

The EVGA SuperNOVA 2 is one hell of a supply as well.
If you can find that. You're gold.
If not, I'll have to see what else is on the market since its mostly littered with trash and you dont want a trash PSU handling your entire PC.

ANTEC 550 watts Power Supply Unit is all you need. Recent systems, including Processors and Graphics card consume incredibly low power which is basically the target point.
1050 Ti doesn't even have a 6 pin connector. Even if you buy one with it, your total power consumption of entire system would not increase beyond 250-300 watts. If you are thinking about upgrading, then future generation of cards would consume even less power because this is what technological evolution is all about now these days.

You do not need to buy any of those over-priced 600 watts PSU or above.

Using CS650M since a year now. Never gad any issue with it tbh,
