Should I go for Logitech Z-5500 or a Home Theater System

Ok Ommee bhai... i am here to help :)
I had a JVC 5.1 surround sound system for like a year probably... those were only meant for movies... i couldn't enjoy gaming or music...
With that said i was on a quest to find the best speakers for movies, games, music and connectivity... By connectivity i mean it should have digital optical out, COAX for future proofing ur system
The only thing that filled the bill was none other than the logitech z5500... I bought these like 1 month ago, as u might have seen it in my thread...
Dude i will just tell u this... There are approx 20 bars or more on the volume control of the logitech control panel... i cant take it more than 4-5 bars... the room starts shaking, i can hear cracking noises from my LCD which is wall mounted :D
Dude the control panel is damn good... u can have which ever setting u like... meaning from which speaker u want the most audio from, it instantly recognizes the audio type ur playing...n did i mention a 2 channel audio or video can be converted to a 5 ch with this system ... i hope this helps...
These home theater setups r good for shadis n some parties where the crisp audio is not required... logitech is all about making the experience best as possible

i dont know how you guys will react to this ... but i am saying nonetheless ...

boast up your sound system try going to the limit, now the movie or song (better be a flac or high quality song) output should not loose its originality or it should not be distorted, bass should not overcome vocal and treble should not turn into freaking witch voice. vocal should be clear on lower as well as upper levels, every instrument playing should be heard. Remember every sound system has its limits and it cant go beyond that...very expensive sound systems wont let you go their but lower level systems will start distorting sound.
one thing more on high levels you should not feel that sound is hitting your head like a hammer, voice should be louder but sweet. everybody has limits to what he/she can hear so defining the limits is your choice, only thing is that your sound system what ever it is should perform to your set levels.

and if you are talking about industry standards ... a relative of my friend sold his honda civic to buy a sound system ... :eek::eek::eek:... now you can calculate how much a good sound system cost.

***Remember*** if you are taking output from PC try not to mess up with sound system equalizer or bass, treble options. because you will feel excessive bass and treble just put your sound system to default.

i usually switch to stereo mode while listing to audio. (songs mp3, blah blah).

one important thing quality of song really really matters so telling again to use flac if possible.

I AM SOUND FAN TOO.BUT MARKET IN PAKISTAN offers nothing in terms of quality sound.
logitech z550 and these line of speakers are good but if you want to enjoy full industry standard sound go FOR ONKYO or YAMAHA.
Please its my advice to all dont buy high powered chinese amplifiers or speakers.Like z-550 ,creative gigaworks,e.t.c
They all sound good at starting but after certain time they gona blow and blow your mind too cuz you have invested a hell of amount on them.nowadays gigaworks s750 cost 40,000 rs ......!!!!!!why not go for 12000 RS AMP MADE IN JAPAN AND REMAINING FOR SPEAKERS AND SUB.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
