Guys need to purchase a laptop, I don't mind a used one as long as it's in near perfect condition and not used much.

Here are my requirements:

Need a mid-performance all round performance laptop, not a hardcore gamer but won't mind playing latest games with good performance.
I will mostly use the laptop for running latest Autodesk 3D softwares, running Virtual Machines, watching movies and gaming sometimes.

The laptop design should be slim, sleek and professional looking, not bulky or oldie.

i5 or i7 CPU

4 or 8 GB RAM

500 - 1 TB HDD 7200 RPM

Optional things if I increase my budget:

SSD HDD

Dedicated GPU

My budget is 60K but can increase it to 80K for the right laptop.

Fire away guys!

Thanks in advance.

buying new laptop is not complicated at all these days in IT stores they keep laptops categorized low end mid and high end... plus your questions will be answered by sales guy there..

or open up youtube, laptop dedicated webs to do little research on what laptop is for you

That's the issue, if I research and like something online it's hard to find that exact model+specifications in the local markets here.

So I like to ask the local users about their experience to make an informed decision before spending 60-80K

P.S

After visiting the local market, I got even more confused as what to buy since there are tonz of options and no real reviews on the different variations of laptops available.

I was surprised to see that international warranty laptops were cheaper than local warranty laptops and laptops which had integrated graphics were more expensive than the ones which had a dedicated GPU in the same model.

Any idea what's up with these things???

people don't understand what international warranty is..

for example if you buy a Dell laptop in Australia model xyz and it has international warranty... then if it gets defective when you are in Pakistan the exact dell model xyz has to be in Pakistan market by Dell only then it could be repaired otherwise you have to send back to Australia or in country where exact model is available

so i think those international warranty laptops are cheaper because they are not officially available in Pakistan by manufacturers

about other thing dedicated gpu cheaper than integrated is out of my knowledge

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
