need help of connecting xbox to pc monitor

My gpu is 5770 i got everything but i just need to ask u that i dont have a switch in my monitor to display xbox and pc at a time.and one thing also if i connect the both cable of xbox and pc at the back of my gpu is it right or dangerous ? thanx in advanced

First thing is if ur monitor doesnt have switch then how u r connecting cables at back of monitor it must have switch...
its not dangerous but it wont work...:GL:

U mean ur connecting ur 360 on the back of ur HD5770?
Bro the Connections on ur GPU are for Outputs only not Intput

U need 2 Inputs on ur Monitor to connect both PC and 360 Simultaneously otherwise there is no option but to connect them one at a time

You will need VGA cable for xbox360, either original XBOX 360 cable or chinese one aka dragon cable
Secondly, you will require KVM switch. This will allow you to connect both PC and X360 at same time with Monitor. GO for DLINK 2-port KVM which are cheap and Antech if you want quality
