Need for Upgradation

well i have a budget of 30K + the amount of current mobo+processor+ram when i will sell in the market (D945GCNL+E2160+2GB Corsair Value Ram 667mhz)... as i want to upgrade mobo, processor & RAM... well i pesonally like Asus P5Q (Combo DDR2 & DDR3) +Intel Q9550+Corsair XMS Dominator 1066 2GB*2...so what you will all say about this?

but why u wana speed that much on q9550+dominator+p5qc(if u want ddr2+DDR3)

I MEAN ist of all ddr2+ddr3 moboz generally r not gud overclcokers
pair them with quads n there u go ...
u have budget of 30k n ur planing for these things ... lets say add even 10-12k for ur current things even then u cant manage this setup in 40k
q9550 well u know its price around 20k
p5q (c or normal one) almost 12k plus
n dominator 4.2k i guess for 2gb
so gpu what ull do with ur gpu???

i say be reasonable with all things ... 12k for cpu 12k for mobo n rest for gpu ... rest for ram if u can get some 4k from somewhere else
get ddr2 xms2 dhx cl4!!! no matter what u get 667mhz or 800mhz

IF you play games go for E8400/E8500 E0 Stepping. Sli Board and DDR2 Corsair with OC abilities.

well he can find e7500 even at 12k price tag take cache aside this cpu wud be overclokcing king pin in e7xxx n e8400 category
cause most games favour clock speeds n cache wud give him just few fps drops over a cpu which is almost 20 to 3k expensive
but ur suggestion is gr8 i wud also recommend 750i/780i chipset board ... if u wana go with nvidia gpuz (sli for future) or any x48/x38 chipset mobo ... i dnt know why i prefer x48 over p45

hmmm bro, get a quad core q8200. its a must, core 2 duo are gonna be out of production later this year. secondly p5q mobo. ddr2 will get the job done.

Well if u play on a 19inch screen or less than 8800gt is enough. But u should go with an sli mobo and e8500. Also spend some money on a decent cpu cooler, cause e8500 is one hell of an overclocker!

I was also thinking of suggesting him a DDRII board but then I thought this DP45SG is cheaper and reliable and DDRIII will help him in his next upgrade.

on the side note some of the users are suggesting him LI mobo. But I say why SLI? whith RV740 so close I would suggest him a crossfire board.

SLi just in case you wanna go MMmm Dual GPU.
E8400 A good choice, I might be selling mine heheh!
And DDR2 RAM 800 OC it, cheap and efficient. I think that DHX 4GB Kit is around 5100Rs.
