How is kingmax ssd 64GB. Its sata 2. I am getting it for around 4k.
Is it worth buying?
Would dg33fb support it? Is dg33fb sata 2?

There is no doubt that you guys are right and I know it is an unknown brand (its cheap for an ssd) and my mobo does not support SATA 6GB

so my question is that

How does this ssd compare to my current hdd which is seagate barracuda 7200.11 32mb cache?

Would I experience a significant difference?

ofcourse u will feel significant difference in ur experience but u see SSD tends to get slow as they get older.. and u never knw when they die..
reason people doesnt opt for ssd is that SSD can die any moment... people suggested u some names like samsung,crucial and intel.. Intel and samsung are leaders of ssd.. why because they are reliable.. and their ssds are expensive then other.. though other might offer better speed rates but we want reliable thing...

summing up.. " NAME KI SSD LE RAHAY HO APP..Kuch nahi pata yea kab fail hojai ge.. is say behtar hay thora wait kar k get some more money and get good sata 2 ssd.. u can find them on pg market"

Reliability Is The Issue Friend.....SSD's Are Known To Have So Many Errors Even Known Brands Which Sorted With Their Firmware Upgrade....So Don't Know If Its All Upto Mark Or Have Some Bugs Or Slow Read Write Speed.....Mentioned Speed Doesn't Mean You Get All of It...So many Factors Affects Them...

They do get a bit slower in time.

Speaking as in today, all SSD's have come down in price. So the competition in pricing isn't a problem. OCZ is known to have the most DOA rate in SSD's, I'm not sure that where you heard good stories about it. Only the model which came out right now i.e. the Vertex-4 has an indilinx controller which has a much lower return rate than it's previous series.

Expensive Storage SSD....But Simply Worth It....If It Was Me...I Will Go All The Way With Intel Ones.....Or Crucial (Considering I Find Them Affordable) .Magnetic Media Type Can Never Beat It....!! Future Is Surely SSD...But I Wish They Get As Cheap As Magnetic Types Are

INTEL .......Total Reliable Stuff Except Their MB's ^_^

I Was Going for X25 But Due To Its Price And Sata II Limitations......I Don't....Its Used 80GB In The Price Of New 60Gb....!!
