Hi everybody,

Can anybody recommend me some room heater preferably ones which are very safe to use inside rooms (carpeted rooms and children :/)?

(Are fan heaters and halogen heaters any good?)

There are hybrid type heaters. That dont radiate but send out hot air. Use gas to heat and have a blower in them. (Direct Vent Furnaces | Furnace Benefits | Rinnai)

Then there are electric baseboard heaters they are also good and they can work with a thermostat. (Cadet 36 in. 750-Watt 120-Volt Electric Baseboard Heater in White-3F750-1W - The Home Depot)

Then you can use ACs that come with heating functionality.

All of them are safe for carpets and much safer than conventional heaters in terms of kids in the house. Also dont buy heaters that get red hot.

Depends on the use. For one room? Small room or large room? Do you intend to close the doors, whats the outdoor temperature etc. etc...

I have a 780 sqft apartment. 2 rooms and a living room. Baseboard heater is running 24/7.
This month I got around 780 units. Last month was not as cold and I got 450 units. (Compare to 600 units in summers)

Everything in my house is electric...even the water heater and cooking.

Thanks but i have limited < 10k, these heaters seems to be aorund 20k :( any option in this range please?
You can get electric heater for less than 10k. I have one, its shaped like a pedestal with changeable height, oscillation and timer function. It is also safe to leave it on at night as if it fall or is held up from the ground it automatically switches off. The price for around 6 7 thousand as far as i remember, not sure. Company name is AOE(Aurora Office Equipment).
