I got a Sony 46-inch W700A a few months ago. I'm totally satisfied with it. Costed me around Rs. 101,000. There is the newer (but practically the same) 48-inch W600A which costs around 108-110k. A comparable Samsung TV for me would be the 7 series, which is considerably more expensive.

It comes down to your preference in the end as well. I'm not really a fan of Samsung TVs. They're super saturated and their menus are absolutely atrocious.

I second that, get a Sony LED. It has more true to life colours, whereas Samsung LED's have highly saturated colours. Do check both display out at their respective centres/outlets before making a decision.
