My Fraud story

We desperately need step by step instructions on how to report online fraud.

The websites to visit, the people to contact (phone and email), the cost (if any), the prerequisites etc. The problem in PK is that nothing is systematic, and it is upto us to do it - eventually someone has to do if we want to get out of this third world loop.

So an advice to anyone who has submitted fraudulent cases to FIA or any other authority and have successfully recovered the amount should do everyone a favor and make a guide [even if you did not recover the amount - the process alone can help a lot].

Also - a quick helpful guide on how to avoid scams online and telltale signs that one should look for to recognize a bad deal. There are a lot of folks settling in PK coming from abroad and they are not avid enough to recognize bad deals. So this guide will help both the people who came from a simple household and those coming in from abroad. Also, a good idea would be to compile all these kind of threads and link them on the guide as an example.

We have to move away from the attitude of 'you deserve it' and work more towards 'we should solve it'.

I would gladly create these guides but unfortunately I'm not an expert in the subject matter of recognizing nor reporting fraudulent cases. I would help where ever I can when creating these guides.

I experienced such thing as well. I paid for Quantum Break that i never got. He also made excuses like he will send later because he is at office, blah blah. I got that ad from olx. His number is: 0304-0126-311. Save this number too since he is another PoS.

As other have stated, just do not put any WTB ads on anonymous portals. And always do H2H deals as much as possible (specially electronics item, mobile shobile -> because it's a common sense to carefully check a pre-owned item before you buy). I have been a victim of these petty 'chor-chakaari' MANY times in the past and ended up getting fake/broken item and once: NOTHING at all. Yeah siree! Since then i emphasize in doing H2H deals. I always put up "Local sellers preferred" thing in my ad, however sometimes i do feel bad about this as PG has tons of trusted members who are mostly super nice guys. But thing is your bad experience leaves you often scarred for life, and that to not trust anyone. Sadly, not even those who are supposed to be trusted.

Ok I've been away from PG as now have Job, married and quit gaming except for PC. I read this whole thread and I do agree on one thing that chelnov was fool to trust that person and only he himself has to blame but why most of you people acting like so jerks especially the last one Mr. Deltree, seems to me like he borrowed 15k from you. The whole point of telling this sob story for him to tell you guys not to do that or suffer like him and that's what the point of whole thread and you can see he's not the only one, I'm positive he's not asking any of your sympathies, He thought all of you as his friends to talk, but seems to me he just made another mistake.

Now to all who are asking him to go to FIA or authorities so let me tell you all guys he'll never gonna get his money back but I'm sure he'll waste huge amount due how our legal system by paying bribes to many so called officials. About few years ago my Uncle got the same scam and he lost 30 lacs to a person whom he once trusted but got stabbed in the back. He did went to FIA and even met some resourceful person but even today nothing happens. Yeah maybe that fraud maybe caught but then whole investigation will be done, then comes trail and more the Khuwari he has to face. Infact most of the person will say that 'bhai 15,000 they, dafa karo'. This legal system is not to protect us. If he lost 15k, I'm positive he'll lose 150k by going to authorities, and also many claims his name is Asim, If someone of you know him than why isn't you guys took any action, especially Azam Khan Khatak and Rehman? I know the reason is our Legal system, where people like Mumtaz Qadri (I don't support him, but very much against his hanging) are hanged but guys like Liaqat Jitoey makes victory signs. If someone did went to FIA and had someone caught come here and guide us.

To Chelnov, Bro I also once put an add of PC on OLX and did got many calls in which one was asking 'Bhai PC bhijwa deen mein paise bhej doon ga,' 'Nahi mein PC aaney key baad paisey donga' he kept calling me every 15 min but I didn't did it and then sold that PC to my colleague and also once my PS3 got YLOD and put an add for selling it, giving every information. Despite from other city, the person who bought PS3 has to come to my house to collect PS3. So as best as possible try to find the stuff on shops, in RWP/ISL there are used electronic shops which are still selling good product and then only go for PG and it's members. Also don't get me wrong, I also went through similar thing like few years ago an office boy came to my office. He asked me and some of the colleges that he has to go to his village and don't have money. We all gave him 1 to 2k each and then he went away and then we never saw him. So please be careful dealing with money, even with your best friends, especially office colleges and do have a third person as a witness.

Just be aware guys. This guy Asim is approaching members of the forums trying to threaten them with bs . Be careful and ignore any strange number with obnoxious comments also report any sms from him. He also joins pg with different names and try to instigate members through PM's. All above has happened with me.

I am not going to speak about what I have gotten done or not, I already have a contact in FIA Cyber Crime but talking to them I know a visit can solve a lot of issues.

Bhai again the guy messaged me and probably others too as it was a forwarded message . He was defending himself and it seems some members him have also defrauded him and it might be true as I think some members are more oriented towards doing business here over the cost of customer service. Especially I have seen PC components have the highest number of frauds on this forum including import frauds. I just pray Allah give hidayat to all for misguiding others for small profit.

He told me 7870 has 1 fan spin feature but it was a faulty gpu after I asked from MSI. When I reached home, I msg him in very humble way but he completely manipulate the whole thing, ''apko dukan pr hr cheez bta kr de, ab ap aitraz kr rhe hu, le jao apna gpu aur mera wapis kr do!"

I request you see his msgs after deal so you can know this bastard.

He requested me once not to Complaint to (member js) again, I agreed and never did it. But I will not this shit let go with ease. I'm Going to mention not only this but the 12 frauds from Pakgamers.com members to media! I will burst (member s) arse too for his buhtaan put on me for nothing!


I have put a serious FIR against (member r6) , (member ss) pagal too for his useless buhtaan put on me without proper confirmation from me when I had a 960 gpu which I sold to my class fellow instead of his friend. He was forcing to sell to (member s) and became angry why I didn't sold to (member s)? and for this lame reason he started calling me fraud. What is this?

I still remember he behaved exactly same when I had 32" LCD in 2012 and I wanted live deal in Lahore but he updated negative score with another id!

I can tell address of shop where I sold it! His son have still my lcd

I have written proofs of marketplace frauds in many forms, bank receipt, msgs, screenshots etc. against pg members including (member hs)!!!!!

After I proof my innocence the threads against me shall be removed!

After this I shall return items to relevant persons very urgent. Calling me fraud can't make me anything.

often times greed takes over our mind , for example if we are getting a very good deal we stop to think about cons of the deal and focus more on making the deal possible , and through this we become the victim of scammers, i myself lost 20k last year through OLX

My post is the most relevant about the topic. This guy is the fraudiya about whom this thread is created. How can you be so naive to jump to conclusions and accuse me of being 'out of topic'. There's another thing besides fraud and scam which is called cheat or deception. That's what I accused some members of especially in computer components. It's not just about the forum , I love pg but its to point out the flaw which is common and lots complain about . For example I believe a certain nexus of members in certain city who run businesses on this platform after each other's necks for sales exclusively in the PC components sub area.

Now this is out of topic and I don't need to discuss anything here. My post was the most relevant where the other guy was trying to speak his two cents. Plesse be considerate, I don't feel like discussing anything here otherwise.
