Moto X (XT1056) Sprint - Stuck at Boot Animation

I have Moto X Sprint running KitKat 4.4.2 version which was sim unlocked when I bought it. Yesterday I factory reset my phone and then updated it to 4.4.4 via OTA, so the sim unlock patch was reset and its now SIM LOCKED. I searched over internet to get my sim working again, it was required that the phone must be on 4.4.2 or earlier to carry on sim unlocking procedure.

To revert back to 4.4.2 I needed root access, I unlocked my bootloader and rooted it via TWRP.

I flashed 4.4.2 ROM via TWRP, and restarted the phone but it stuck at boot animation. Now whenever I switch it on it reaches till Motorola Logo and goes off.

Now my PC doesn't recognize my phone. Did I brick it? Anyone knows what the problem is?

Moto Xs aren't supposed to be downgraded at all. Motorola has placed certain security restrictions which get triggered when you try to downgrade - XDA is full of threads warning people to not try to downgrade their moto phones.

I suggest you flash the original 4.4.4 ROM to get your phone up and running again.

It is not getting into fastboot either by pressing (Power+VolumeDown) button or terminal because my PC doesn't recognize it. So how can I flash 4.4.4, is there any other way?
Also in which state my state my phone is? Is it bricked?

P.S. If it's showing the boot animation, it should boot into fastboot.

When you get your phone into fastboot, you should flash the 4.4.4 SBF so as to get your device back into working condition.

Once you've done that and you still want to downgrade to 4.4.2, you can use a method called selective flashing.

What you do is extract the 4.4.2 SBF using WinRar or any compression software.
Then use the "fastboot flash xx xx" command to flash the SYSTEM and BOOT partitions.
Don't touch the GPT.BIN and Motoboot partitions as they can't be downgraded and will cause errors.

P.S. From my extremely limited experience, I don't think downgrading your phone will remove the SIM Lock. Your best option would be to purchase a cheap unlock code. There's a guy on PG who offers them at cheap rates. @Riz
