Big Rock Candy Mountain.
I know I asked this in the What to buy section..but was not getting enough responses. (Only one member was helping me out)
My current Mobo is not working and I might be able to get a new mobo from the shop, but the mobo has to be in the current Mobo's range.

I need some replies quickly because today or tomorrow I will be going to the store and will have a talk with the shopkeeper.

My Budget is 6K. I want to OC my E2180..at least to 2.6.
I am NOT willing to Upgrade my Rams. And Used Motherboards aren't a option.


What I found in the 6K range was:
Asus: P5QPL-AM
Asus: P5QPL-CM
Asus: P5KPL-CM
XFX: 630i.
Any other one?

Which will give me the best OC without Upgrading and OC'ing my current Rams?
I need as much info anyone of you guys can provide about all the mobos listed. (Just in case)

My sepcs are:
E2180
2GB Kingston 667 RAM (2 sticks, each 1GB)
Generic 400watt PSU
8600GT

I think P5QPL-CM is a better option here then P5KPL-CM with less then 2k diff.

And dont worry about divider, its not intel P:

Jjust download the bios manual for any motherboard you are looking to see what options it will give you.

Out of all the mentioned ones, P5QL-CM is better, it is on g43 chipset while rest are on g41, g31 and 630i chipsets......go for this one....

well with my p5k-vm which is based on g33 chipset, i took my e2180 to 3 ghz on stock hsf and same kingston 667 bus value rams (i could have gone higher but couldn't go coz of temp. limitations)......i guess it will have same if not better oclocking capability.......you can use 1:1 ratio and you will be able to go to atleast 3 ghz which is 50% oclock.....

Dude if u can find used asus p5k-vm then its the best bang for buck...... if not then p5ql-cm is the best option......

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

    Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.
