Ok guys i am having this problem i am 24 now but don't know why i feel like i m 17-18

i still love the things which i used to love when i was 17-18 like cartoons,games,Slanty,toffees

sometimes my friends laugh at me whenever i m watching cartoons in front of them like dexter,tom and jerry etc

so is anyone having this problemmm lately???

Dude I would say thats your mistake that you are being treated like this.

you know what you are their friend and you know what stuff they think is grown up and what is childish so you be with them accordingly means when you are with them you should know how to behave like a 24 year old.

This is so simple because every guys is different to his parents , to siblings, to cousins and to friends. thats how we deal normal life so you should do the same. you should be aware of what kinda gathering you are in and should behave in accordance.

I have variety of friends and had the same issue even on my FB post they used to say WTF u post tht gaming stuff only 5 to 6 guys like that. y do yu do that.. same happens when they somehow see me playing games and being excited about MOVIES and stuff.

Some ppl are just retarded to them being serious is a grown up thing.

There is nothing wrong with you man. You just need to go out and meet people who share similar interests with you. You should interact with all kinds of people, that way you always find people who like the same stuff as you.
Now for the family part, families always oppose things they don't understand. My mother always scolds me on spending hours on my computer or watching tv shows or playing video games. You might also dislike some of the things that's your family does, maybe the stuff they watch on tv for example. I say you should do the stuff you like as long it's not bad and doesn't affect your family in any way. My father is an example for this. He has been a hard core flight simulator fan over the years, my grand dad opposed this all his life but that never stopped him. He will be 49 this year and he still plays that game.

I am almost 20 years old but I still watch some very childish cartoons, play games, and do things that some may consider childish. But that doesn't mean that I am not mature. These are habits. They change over time. For example lately I am taking in a new hobby, that is (some might consider boring) art.

I am the way I have been when I was 13 - games, cartoons, movies, fixing and making circuits, tv shows, football, friends, internet. But I have noticed that I've become a lot more outgoing since the past 5 months... But thats probably because I am in a university now and have met a lot of new people.

BTW my friends hate that I love cats. But I say 'fuck you' to them (in a friendly way) and help out a cat in need of help
