ME3 freezing

I don't know where I should post this question, so anyways.

I downloaded the Mass Effect 3 JTAG rip for my RGH xbox. It is freezing at the earth loading screen after the EA/Bioware intro. Both disc 1 and disc 2. I had been playing a ME3 perfectly fine from a different rip(only got the disc 1 from a friend) and I downloaded the second disc from some other rip available on the *ahem ISO*. But it keeps freezing. I tried by downloading the first disc of this rip aswell. But even disc 1 is freezing at the very same spot.

My FSD is updated v2.2. Can anyone point out the problem here? Thanks.

I know about this. The only reliable fix as of now is to convert the ISO to a GOD and run it via that (for certain rips). Did you try that?

I can't convert a JTAG rip to GOD, right?

^^You can.Download a program calles "Exiso" This program will conver the XeX files in the J Tag rip into an ISO which you can conert into GOD format using ISO2GOD.I've tried it myself and it works.

I got to know what is the problem...well more a solution than knowing the problem.

I tried installing a different version of FSD as v2.2 was giving me trouble in finding game paths. This 2.0 beta worked. Then I loaded ME3 from my Usb0(external HDD), it still froze at the very same spot and I had to restart. Then when I went into XeXmenu to run FSD, I accidently booted the default.xex from the Freestyle folder in my USB and I didn't realize that. Next thing I know is Mass Effect 3 disc 1 and disc 2 both load fine. I rechecked by loading from HDD1 and my USB. Results were the same.

this issue is random .. some people are able to play without any problems .. some have freeezing issues .. others have insert disc errors ... i fixed the freezing issue on one of the xboxes by installing dashlaunch .. then disk swapper plugin ... and entering the data for ME3 in the disk swapper file so that it swaps discs ... worked fine

@ Faizy: bro i dont know if its a relevant question in this thread or not but need your advice. I played ME3 just normally on my Lt +2.0 by using the patching method. But the 2nd disc that i had burned with the similar method does not go beyond the loading screens even though the menus work just fine. When the disk one game play asks for insert disk 2 and pop the disk in, it just keeps loading and loading endlessly. When i tried to install it, the installation was aborted at 50% asking me to clean the disk with the soft cloth and dirty disk shit. What am I suppose to do? Is it a bad burn or should i just try another way?

happened to me too...i got my copy from karachi so nw i m stuck with it and cant play any sidequests.this really sucks

^its a bad burn issue ... just try to copy the dvd to ur pc and burn it on another dvd

i was having problem in GOD format, then i converted to xex extracted format and its working again
