for portable i would say Xduoo XD-05 are best value for money
i dont have any experience of aliexpress shipping but i was talking to a seller and his final price was $150 thats whole $50+ drop from retail
n that dap has one of the best dac chipset and amp is pretty powerful for its form factor ... ideal portable which can also work as desktop dac n amp

Lol, Why are you scared of ordering from aliexpress man? I've ordered many things from there over the past 2 years, not once have I had any issues. Just don't order a Phone as that's a PTA issue. all rest is fine. I'm pretty sure they won't stop the xduoo. even if they do (worst case scenario), you can just go to the GPO and have it cleared after paying minimum custom duty, It'll be less than 1k in any case. and I think I told you the seller who agreed to $135? if you haggle more they'll easily agree to lesser prices. If you're still not confident just start with something small like a $2 watch or something.

Nah bro, $150 is too much. Multiple sellers were offering me 140-145. Try contacting various other sellers. Tell them that other sellers are offering 145 and so on, that will drive the price down. lol. Be Pakistani about it.
