LTE only and calls

Ok so bought a warid sim to check 4g and happy to report works perfectly on korean lg f300 and att s5 active.
Problem is cant make or recieve calls in lte only mode is it like this ya phir kuch aur masala hai ?? Even in lte/gsm mode it takes a while to connect while calling or receiving.

LTE only means your phone only uses LTE network. Pakistani networks don't support LTE calls(VoLTE). As for the slow call speed that's your phone switching to GSM. My Z2 takes around a sec max which is about normal . So if its slower than this it may be software related.

AS stated by criticalerror, you cannot make calls on LTE. For that, VoLTE is required which is not launched in Pak. Call connecting duration is software issue, which rom r u using?

I am using stock s5 active lollipop. But I am happy that lte working on at&t mobile. And perfectly on Korean L phone that was believed not to work. But zong didnt work on lte I am in Islamabad so signal cant be a problem. Warid lte is superb.

I am not sure about AT&T bur L versions of Korean support 4g from LG G2 onwards. (Older L versions don't have 1800 band).

Yeah have f300l that is almost same as g2, also had vega 890 it had 1800 aswell. Same is s5 active band 3 is there and 4g absolutely brilliant.

Can you make a simple phone call and sms from your warid sim while browsing or downloading on warid 4g?

Yes only if set to gsm/lte or global/lte option. It switches to edge and then to lte while making calls or sms. Takes 2 sec inbetween

Only for calls, not SMS. SMS are sent over LTE.

No, you can't. Pakistani networks don't support VoLTE. You need VoLTE for that to be possible.

How is the voice call quality of warid and text service any delay in sms? Does calls drop? And the signals remain stable like mobilink signals?

I'm actually thinking to get Warid so have no idea abt this network quality and service.

Apart from MAYBElink, I've used all Pakistani networks and I'll have to admit it that call quality is best on Warid. Even text messages get sent instantly. And, yes! Signals are damn stable.

It'll switch to 2g when u run a mmi code because then it actually dials a number and then initiates the mmi command, so yeah, that's why u need to have gsm/lte option selected to run mmi codes. But texts are smooth over lte.
