ab aisa bhi nai hai... The game is very very gud... Its back to the basics, y dont ppl get tht.. everybody loved it its only the online mode tht suxx...
well last nite i found out tht KOF12 online is better now.. u can play with ppl frm ur contry widout Lag... and i tried playin wid my friends in UAE.. the connection was gud.. so hopefully we Pakis can enjoy playin the game 2gether...
KOF12 is a very nice game no doubt .. i totally disargee with tht review... The graphix are amazing and The soundtrack is very gud aswell... and even tho there are 5 stages, tht doen't even matters to me.. nor does the story mode.. all the hardcore fans need a better online PLAY..
U'll hate it when u play arcade or Practice but once u play against a HUMAN and get ur hand setup.. u'll truly knw the games capability.. and the CC mode is soo much fun.. the moves are soo much balanced.. This game is very gud..

This week’s launch of THE KING OF FIGHTERS XII represents the culmination of four years of hard work to deliver a rebirth for the KOF franchise, but several key issues have arisen since its release that must be addressed. Rest assured that SNK PLAYMORE is fully committed to supporting the King of Fighters XII community by working to further improve the gameplay experience.
We’re pleased to announce that the next software update will address the animation glitch that users have encountered in which Elisabeth’s character sprite becomes “frozen” for the duration of the round when the character Raiden performs a specific move on her.
While software update solutions are being devised, we can offer some tips to those users who are experiencing exceptionally poor online performance. First, we suggest limiting the number of players in a room to two, as the addition of a spectator with a slow connection can currently create latency for all users in the room. Also, if your Internet connection is configured behind a firewall using NAT Type 3, we recommend reconfiguring your setup to utilize NAT Type 1 (for PS3) or an “open” setting (for Xbox 360).
Also, we’d like to take this opportunity to explain one feature of the Xbox 360 version. When playing online with the Xbox 360 version of KOF XII, players who continually battle the same opponent in multiple Ranked Matches in the same lobby will not receive additional True Skill Rank Points. This is an intentional decision to keep players from abusing the system to reap massive rewards by preying on one player. If you want to earn True Skill Rank Points, you must make a new room or leave simply leave the room and come back.

you people should seriously check out blazblue ... its got amazing gameplay and online performance .. there's very minute lag when i play online almost unnoticeable ... and the game is one of the best vs. fighting games i have ever played ...
Ur calling BlazBlue a buttonmasher ? ... Eh ? ... You are aware that Aksys games formerly the guilty gear series is one of the most complex game series mechanics wise ....
Every game can be played as a button masher and i just find it totally bizzare that can make this statement considering the critical acclaim this game is gathering across the internet amongst the community ... try visiting astralheat.com or the dustloop forums to see the level of strategy involved in the game ... just because its fast and looks flashy ... sigh ...

anyway, on topic. i am actually looking into getting a copy of blazblue. i don't know about the button mashing thing; could be, haven't played it or guilty gear ever. it just looks pretty nice, and it's been getting better reviews than kof12 at least.
and i'm not saying that metacritic is the be-all-end-all of all reviews, but here's a comparison of the scores:
kof12 : 58/100
blazblue: 88/100
sf4: 94/100

I had SFIV for a couple of weeks the game didnt impress me too much ... as far as i was concerned it was a good game but i expected better from SFIV plus the lag online was brutal ... i wasn't going to keep playing the computer over and over again or occasionally beat my friends black and blue when they come over to my place ... So long story short i gave it away to a friend ... tho get blazblue, we'll definately play that together online ...
Karachi has Blazblue, it just came here a day or two ago ... if you were here i would have invited you to come and check it out ... i also ordered the hori real arcade stick pro 3 and separately purchased sanwa buttons to mod the arcade stick, the default joystick was already sanwa .. ( sanwa and seimitsu are the best companies for arcade parts worldwide ) .... Needless to say it's a world of difference playing these games with the stick and a whole lot of fun ... i don't think i can ever go back to using the regular controller ..
