Karachi food street sucks!

On 2nd Eid me and my friends went to Karachi food street aka (bandh's road) we visited many food place, but end up eating Ticks boti and kabab. Man It was so disaster food I vomit the food out, chicken, boti, kabab every thing tasted like crap and shit. We left without eating paid and went back cursing them and never to come back to food street. [emoji35]

well there are certain places for certain stuff
like there is famous Matka Dahi baray / fresco
right infront that dahi baray wala has Rabri
waheed kabab for there fried kabab
anwar mutton for there karhai
Food centre for there biryani e.t.c

if you are going with family go to Do Darya Kolachi
there isnt just one food street in karachi there are severals out there but there are some specific things are good at some places so you have to decide first what you are willing to have

bhai isko acha experience chaye to kuch kharcha to kerna hoga nahin to as i said there are specific things at specific places where you can find cheap like i mentioned some places on previous posts
but if you are looking for one place for everything then there is kolachi / bbq tonight lal qila might be too and then there is rangoli

IF you want good food, either go to boat basin or selective restaurants or if you are looking for all-in-one "food street" place then you should go to Port Grand "Port Grand" which was made with the concept of being the dedicated food street / place in Karachi.

First the topic name : Karachi food street sucks is such a huge generalization. You dont just go to Burns road and try food..you go to selective places on burns road like pleasant mentioned.
Karachi has more than 8-9 food streets that I can think of at the top of my head.


Port Grand,
Do Darya,
Burns Road,
The food street on Tariq road,
Boat basin,
Khadda market,
Saba Avenue,
North Nazimabad,
mohammad ali society,
Disco Bakery,
loadssss more
etc etc

^ Food street at Johar chowrangi/perfume chowk and Johar mord Near Melenium mall as well
and then there is Hussainabad then if you wanna go to Highway there is more places to go
so i would recommend OP to ask before visiting place what he is looking to have in his Dinner meal ppl will guide him accordingly

though i have been to Do Darya kolachi and has become there fan of there Service and Food would highly recommend everyone to try there paneer reshmi handi when ever they happen to visit that place

My brother waheed was the worst, I think you have not goon to waheed. This eid we had tryed waheed as well for bar-b-q. The kabab sucks, the standard that use to be, its gone.

I came back after 5 years, the famous places I uses to go it all sucks, so I think I need to change the place and I am glad few options I got from here. Thanks.

If you are talking about H Block Food street then yes,
It's pretty synthetic as compared to the desi Lahori Food Street.
The food is just fine but the people here are like sheeps, ready to eat grass for the price of a feast with joy.

some of the places are not bad though i.e 'Bovi chic' for Gyro

Only selective places in Karachi are fine.
i.e. Dera @ Boat basin (for Desi Handi)
and HotnSpicy at Khadda Market (for Broast Roll).

yeah i have always went there because for port grand you need a girl with you to get in first
plus some ppl might avoid tariq road one as some will concerned about hygine and prefer fine dining for those port grand should be the choice
