I beleive its already late to start such topic but its worthed to share the experience of your journey / tour so that the peoples who in near future wants this information for their own tours can be benefited and can take advantages of our shared expereiences here .. this will help in drafting a tour as well... for young travellers here in pak gamers... for those who never went out side country atleast they can learn and can manage their future journey and by sharing these expereinces who cannot manage to go they can atleast have a good idea whats out there so that they can easily decided if its worth travelling there or not... how i am explaing the tour is divided in 4 main points as follows ( any additions will be welcomed ) . main theme of this topic can be as follows :

since i have started the topic so i must share my experience as well , i am living in dubai for last 5 years , most of us ( i beleive ) already knows much about dubai , so i will avoid dubai in this topic , this is actually about my tour to Oman ,
1, Which country , When , why and what duration ? and brief history of the tour
i went to oman (salalah ) with my cousin and a freind by car from dubai , it was about 1200 KM , from dubai , and it was year 2009, in UAE we had 7 days holidays on eid ul azha so we decided to go by car as it will be fun & adventure , it took about 10 hours , to reach to salalah , our average speed was about 170 KM per hour , and at times we were speeding at 220 KM where road was smooth , ( remmember speed kills ) , it was full of fun and excitement, where there are places where life threatening sitautions were there , wt e left from dubai on chand raat and reached to border to get the visa at border of oman , it took almost 4-5 hours to get the visa then we started for masqat , we managed to reach masqat at 4 PM evening and stayed there for night, on EID morning we left for Salalah, 1000 KM from nizwa / musqat , only single road is there and in between road is very bad and chances of flat tyre is high so aleast take two tyres extra , plus there is pacth of around 500 KM where there is nO police no water no ambulance no lights nothing at all ....!! only you and ALLAH ...
so its better to take extra fuel , water first aid as well , i am uploading a video tour as well , as picture can say thousand words enjoy ...!
2, Expense INcurred
it took for us around 500 dirhams over all , with food one night hotel stay and fuel , oman is safe for camping on road sides so we saved our money by camping but its not that safe , camping should have to be at proper camping site other wise it wcan leasd you to situations where dangesrs can come across ...
3, Negative points
Following are some very critical aspects of this tour as well as important for any tour as well ... as these are mostly related to common sence which we ommitted becasue of our excitement and anxiousness...!!
4, Recommendations
places to visit includes , souq in nizwa, nizwa fort , jebel akhdar (nizwa) , musqat very good city between mountains, magician samri tomb, Hazrat omran tomb, beach of salalah , cave of salalah , mountains of salalah , are excellent places to visit , its better to exchange the currency at your originating country , other wise you will loose worth of money in exchaging ... !! and best months to go to Oman are July and aug , as there is KHAREEF FESTIVIAL ... and oman salalah will be @ best.... ! happy travelling...!

- Always take first aid kit ,
- extra tyres alteast two ,
- extra fuel ,
- atleast alteast a fruit cutting knife for self defense ( we were just having a cricket bat yes... we played cricket at nizwa fort )
- Never camp too far from village or population , because it can be dangerous in night...! ,
- take plenty of water and food for a day alteast, \
- dont drive in night ...in deserty regions its dangerous as hell due becasue if winds are high or during sand storms ( road can be invisible as its only road in desert and there are NO STREET LIGHTS so its impoosible to find the way out and it can be deadly , friend of my mine lost his life .... 1 year back as he lost the way in desert ) ,
- camels on the road side walkways for eating shrubs can come on the road and may cause fatal accident,
- Dont stop on the way between musqat to salalah , there is ONLY one road where there is NO STREET LIGHT , NO POLICE , NO ARMY , NO MEDICAL , NO PATROL NOTHING..... and
- there is a very deadly specie of spider called camel spider its very common on that area so donot CAMP there .... and alteast take two drivers if you are driving such a long way... ( i drive alone that 1200 KM in 10 hours becasue my friend and cousin wernt having a license but alteast they can drive without licesne )
4, Recommendations
