Hi! I'm thinking abt getting a new phone. I'm currently using Galaxy S5 and, it lags a lot. I wanted to try out LG G5 but people say thay bootloop also affects it. Is it true? Second, i want to take a break from Samsung so don't suggest it. I'm... confused. Help me out, I suppose?

Hey man i just searched google and it brought numerous hits on people having bootloop issue on V10. So, V10 ain't safe either
Very few and I mean very few phones had it.
I know 2 people who use V10s as their primary phones. No issues in the past 2-3 months.
One of them previously had a Korean G4 which got the bootloop issue.
What I'm trying to say is, the issue wasn't as widespread on the V10 if you compare it to the G4.

So it exists too. Well, this sounds more like silveelining at best and doesn't really sound comforting
V10 and V20 are safe. Even the G5. It was one or two guys on the internet who got bootloop on v10 and that too had a fix I think

It doesn't have bootloop issues but yeah try to search cons of it.

V20 hasn't even been released so I don't know how people here are saying with any certainty that it's free from this issue.
I myself using v10. Alhamdulillah no bootloop issue.Allah mn umeed ha agy bhi nhi ayega...

I have lg v10 with bootloop.
I was doing call on whatsapp and suddenly i stopped hearing voice and phone got stuck in bootloop. It turns on sometimes.. but again goes into bootloop

Considering that and the G4 were both using the same chipset, it's not too surprising.
However the cases in V10 are less common than the G4.
