Is DVI-D Dual link cable required for my Samsung PX2370 LED and ATI 4890 graphic card??

I have a Samsung PX2370 LED and it is connected to my ATI 4890 graphic card. My LED came with a DVI-D single link cable and hence that is what I am using I heard somewhere that I should shift to DVI-D dual link cable for better image quality. Is this true??

If you have links as well to support your claims that would be also be nice.

bro there is no diffrence in image quality the only diffrence is that single link dont support 1920x1200 se opr resolution suuport nhi krta
and dual link 2560x1600 tk support krta he resolution thats it

Most DVI connector types – the exception being DVI-A – contain pins that pass digital video signals. These come in two varieties: single link and dual link. Single-link DVI employs a single 165 MHz transmitter that supports resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz. Dual-link DVI adds six additional pins (located in the center of the connector) for a second transmitter increasing the bandwidth and supporting resolutions up to 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz

Short Answer: Doesn't matter, for your PX2370.

I had that px2370 back then u need just simple dvi cable. Dual dvi mostly used for 3D vision 120hz monitors which isnt the case here
