Want To Buy iPod Touch / iPhone

I want to buy one of them.

iPod Touch 8GB
or
iPhone 8GB

Give me the locations of the shops with the best prices in the Islamabad/Rawalpindi region.
Its on Galaxy for 19000 (will probably give it for 18500)

Also if someone can provide me with info about the shops that have the latest iPods with 1.1.4 firmware update (January Update)
(I know it can be updated manually. But i want the ones that CAME updated from Apple)

Also if someone can find me these (with prices):

Sony MDR-Q68LW Clip-on Style Headphone with Retractable Cord

And i need a couple of Belkin Accessories (for the iPod)
I can import them, but that will take a bit of time, and i dont wanna wait.

Well i got an ipod touch that is 8 gb approx used at 4 months , I can give u at 16500 and secondly i have ordered a few ipod nano vide 4 gb @ 6000 rps new in warranty and 8 gb at 10,000 . If u want that - u have to wait till 1 week. Can ship it to ISB/RWP

I think im gonna wait for Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference on June 9.
iPhone 3G is supposed to be announced that day. Maybe they'll give the touch a 100$ price drop

I contacted a galaxy guy and he called back instantly
Said that the Touch is brand new. Didnt know about the firmware, saying that its not mentioned on the package.
The price that they are giving is AWESOME! (even gave a discount)

I just want to wait till 9th June for the Apple Event. Maybe they will give the 8GB iPhone a price drop when the iPod 3G gets announced.
Or may be they will discontinue the 8GB touch and give the 16GB a 100$ discount

I dont know about them Sonys but there are Altec Lansing ones ive seen at Sasi Arcade and some other shops as well. It wouldnt be that hard to find them. At Galaxy too. Same style ...

Hey AsknAsk, if you are going to use an iPhone, are you sure you'll be using any of it's main features?

Do Pak telcom companies give you the ability to browse the internet, send videos/songs to other phones etc? Just wanna ask you which of the iPhones features are useable there?

The last time i put my sim in an iphone, it drained 90 Rs. outta my account in 24 hours (if you give it the right access point, it downloads weather data and that stuff without asking the user)

Anyways, iPod Touch/iPhone both have wifi. The place where i live... It has plenty of wifi networks. So not really a problem.
And Ufone (GSM Service Provider) have a very good GPRS service here, so does Telenor, Mobilink and Warid.
Ufone gives an unlimited data plan for 500/month on postpaid.

So in short, hell yes. All the features are usable here.

I'm more into the iPod touch. I dont really like the Phone part of iPhone. Besides, i already have a OK-looking chinese phone And i might buy another E200 soon (i get bored VERY quickly)

Well Ahsan, i chose these very carefully from Amazon. There are a LOT of headphones to choose from really. Sennheiser, one of the biggest name in audio, also have a couple of headsets in this range. But the Sony ones have some great features, like the retractable cords.

Or go to any good electronics store The latest 3rd Generation Nano 8GB can be easily found for around 13k.
