but being an apple freak i have ipad2 already and got it 2 hours after its release

These days i watch E3 LIVE stream on my IPAD via gametrailer.com.. It never buffers and quality is pretty great. The experience is simply awesome

To be honest, those of you guys that had trouble converting the movies to the Ipad's native format can use this software.....

I came down to conclusion that most of the Apple haters never owned an Apple product. And those who did mostly got them as a gift and failed to see their actual use.

I am primarily a PC user, but recently I am getting tired of upgrade cycles. Although PCs are really powerful and I stayed PC user because of gaming. Even being at expert and software engineer myself, about 50% of my time is spent on fixing the windows problems. Reinstalling windows every 2 months.

Now I am making a shift to Apple just because I am fed up of fixing stuff, I just need something which works and does not require tons of cables lurking around on my table.

Its a personal decision of choosing a tool. As far as gaming is concerned its waste of time. Believe me if you want to be creative, you have to stop wasting time on games, a lesson I learned in past 10 years.

What I like about Apple products is they let you focus on content and forget about specs, ram and other irrelevent stuff. They are costly no doubt but if you are creative enough you can recover your investment easily through content creation.

Inshallah soon. I have started to save up for macbook pro or 27" iMac.

BTW Microsoft may not survive post PC era. We have entered into mobile/Compact computing and still there is no sign of Microsft Tablet and windows 8 is really refurbished Windows 7. Not good for tablets.

I've been bashed many times for this, and people need to realize it sometimes gets tiring to have to clear your dalvik-cache and fix permissions at a party where I'm supposed to be taking photos or something.
Similarly, I was looking to get rid of my rig completely. Gaming isn't a waste of time - that's just your opinion - but it is unproductive and requires upgrades and patches and drivers and what not to be installed if the PC is your gaming platform. People look past the fact that you sort of get tired of dusting out components and cleaning fan grilles and reseating graphics cards and just call you obtuse.
