Because they send everything without any tax worries or delivery issues.
I don't think they have anything to do with the tax exemptions, unless they are shipping those from Pakistan. Did you ever bought any books through B&N & shipped without any additional charges to you to Pakistan?

Thanks for your reply. When did you last ordered any book? How much time does it takes to deliver?
i ordered two graphic novels and star wars a new dawn on 1st september. The delivery time depends on the amount you are willing to pay. I was given 2-3 weeks estimated delivery, the items arrived within 16 days

I'm searching for the latest custom tarrif and found this excel sheet online...

PAKISTAN CUSTOMS TARIFF 2013-14 (2013811085627877CustomsTariff201314Web.xlsx)

- I found there is no tax on children books... is it true.. (HS-Code is 4903.0000)
-But I couldn't find any info on other books..like literature books...on anything... any idea about it?

So, does it mean that I can import books from amazon and it will not cost me anything extra apart from cost of books + shipping charges...? And the books will directly come to my home???

hmm how is that linked to local customs? BTW...I was searching for a few books and found they are expensive there compared to amazon...

TCS for international courier?

I have used TCS for local parcels i mean the ones i send in Pakistan. For parcels in other countries to relatives i have used DHL, FEDEX, AND UPS. All of them were safe and appropriate with timing but right now i am sick of paying that much to all these services. I saw TCS rate care for International parcel services which i find reasonable. I am not aware of the type of the services they provide to the costumer who give them to deliver something in another country. So any with the experience of using TCS For international parcel? I will be sending it to America in a while just wanna make sure that its safe and my stuff will deliver on time. Relevant and decent comments are appreciated :) Thanks in advance!

DHL rates are lower and i think TCS uses DHL anyway for international cargo...e.g a small package to Germany was costing me 1500rs from DHL and 1800 from TCS. The extra 300rs are their profit after paying DHL....Thats what i think anyway

Pak post don't do international shipping AFAIK. I asked Leopard, they charge Rs.1800 for both USA and UK for a 500gm box.

Like i have mentioned DHL i have used already and they charged me about RS 6000 for 1KG the minimum weight is 500 Grams and for that its like RS 5200 in fact UPS is little cheaper then DHL but TCS is offering a good pricing which is about RS 4000 that is what my concern is. If i can save about 2K its good all i am confused about is safety and delivery time.

Online session is enabled for UBL. I have an active subscription with my NayaPay card (it is already added to Google Payment Methods).

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
