Ok guys I just got back from an official Apple retail store. Actually the original plan was to go there and buy an iPod Touch but I found something else there xD

An Apple iMac !!!!!
here is the one which we liked

its almost 1.5 lakhs but my Father has agreed to buy it if I like it.........

so now tell me .. how is it ? Is it worth buying.....

the main reason why we are going for it than a regular PC though its twice as expensive is that its something new for us .. full time shashka .. its slim and looks smexy .. and since it never gets any sort of virus or anything

So tell me should I go for it >?

or the second choice is .. that I should just get a iPod touch and then buy a 60-70 k pc ?

So what do you say?

oh haan and also tell me how is it for a bit of gaming .. and daily use... and what are the pros and cons of buying it ?

Get the MAC BOOK PRO or MAC AIR

Get the pc and the ipod touch since you'll grow out of your love for the mac soon and the PC will last you quite some time aswell as you can easily upgrade it for gaming purposes.

there's a bunch of awesome laptops out got 70k out now. why not get that instead?

a mac is cool as hell, but you'll have a hard time adjusting from the pc.

first of all, the software. it's not as easy to get pirated software as in the pc. plus there's a limited number of stuff that comes out for the mac.

that means no games at all!

get it if you wanna do some graphic designing or music editing or something. it's reliable for that; like the os won't crash and you won't get any viruses on it. don't really know if it's any better.

i know it's sexier, but the whole point is to run the os x or something like that on it.

just saying though. if you've got the urge to splurge, knock yourself out! the mac is a dead-sexy machine.

or you could get yourself a netbook and get a pretty solid pc for the same amount of money as well. hide the tower someplace under your desk and get a nice big lcd for the table; that's sexy as well.

i bought my wife a 2.4 ghz core2 macbook pro about a year and a half back. it's still the fastest laptop around. don't worry about it getting ourdated anytime soon.

my friend has macbook from like 5 years back and it still runs like a charm.

a normal pc can run mac osx boy...i dont know whats so special about a imac...looks? u can get a aftermarket casing for way cheaper possibly even original imac or a total look alike with a quad core top of the line pc that wud also save u enuff to buy 2 ipod touchs!
