HTC One X - Battery Drainge Issue On Normal Use.

My HTC One X drains battery on very normal use..
last night i charged it full 100% and followed HTC's official battery saving tips but it was on 20% from 10am to 7pm.

[MENTION=30436]RameeX[/MENTION]! From 10am to 7PM, consider yourself extremely lucky. This is not a battery drain issue. Its the battery itself, and ontop of that the power sucking Sense ROM. Flashing a non-sense ROM would make things slightly better by adding 1 or 2 more hours on the battery timings.

Otherwise, during my usage, 4-5 hours was the maximum i used to get, and that was just a couple of calls, 20-30 minutes of small time games and handful of SMS ... and its down to 10%. I was able to drain a OneX's battery in roughly 2.5 hours under gaming and honestly, it was pretty preposterous.

So just deal with it.

Its display is one of the best among all the phones, sense is best skin of android but everything is zero if battery doesnt last, i v used this set for more than year and half but when my children started to play games and finished battery within one hour of it being 100% i was forced to leave it. Be rest assured battery timings would only worsen.
If you want to use it for future get its battery replaced by htc one c plus battery that d give you better timings, otherwise dispose off the set ASAP and never buy htc again.
Such excellent devices are really going to waste just for stupidity of some people at htc no wonder this company d also shut down in future

Right now I am on Viper X custom Rom and with edge running the whole day and alot of apps running during this time my battery lasts for a good 20-22 hours. During the timing you mentioned I am usually in office at that time and it drops from roughly 80-90% to somewhere around 55-60%.

There is something that is keeping your phone awake or draining the battery. Try installing greenify from market to check for wake locks or anything else that might be running with high usage in the background.

There is something that is keeping your phone awake or draining the battery. Try installing greenify from market to check for wake locks or anything else that might be running with high usage in the background.

I am facing battery issue after upgrading to 4.2.2 - Sense 5 -=- Greenify is for rooted phone right?

Your Battery is working ok, i also have HTC One X, and it gives same usage, no need to change battery, your phone would be opened

guys i have figured it out actually battery issue was after updating it to 4.2.2 n sense 5. now i have disabled blinkfeed. now it gives me 30% more backup

Good step i would also like to suggest some tips if you are willing not to root your phone!

disable any app which is keeping your phone wake (involving kernel wake locks, partial wake locks, alarms etc...) see whats preventing your phone from entering deep sleep mode... you can find it out via better battery states (contact me if you cant find it) also disable any app which you think/see is always try to go online (gmail is a battery drainer drains battery big time!) including email clients and apps which followed by constant updates...

i m getting 1.5 day in 1 full charge! (on weekends i get even 2 days) my phone is rooted but you rooting your phone can't effect battery life (but you can get better support like greenfy and stuff to prevent some serious battery loss)
