[How to] Play CoD 5: WaW Online!

Things to know
I have divided Everything in separate groups to make things easier and more organized.
Downloads for files are available in the "Downloads" section
Getting WaW Can be EXTREMELY easy or EXTREMELY tough and frustrating, depending on how well you follow the TUT.

 THE STEPS
1.Getting the game
You must download World at War from TPB. (check the "downloads" section for more Info)
2.Patching the game
Now that you have World at War, you want the latest patch. If you're not sure which version your game is, then do follow these steps:

Right click CODWaWMP>PROPERTIES>'Version' tab.

Now, lets say you have Version 1.4. You're going to download the Patches, 1.5,.1.6,and 1.7. You will patch them in order. You CAN NOT DIRECTLY PATCH TO 1.7 or any PATCH. THEY MUST BE PATCHED IN ORDER. You can find the patches in the "downloads' section.

3.Updating Punkbuster
Okay, good. You're now on the 1.7 patch. NOW WE MUST UPDATE teh PunkBuster. Once you've downloaded it, PB itself might update. Once that's done,
GO TO "ADD GAME", and you'll a drop down menu. Find Call of Duty: World at War. And you can redirect it to where you downloaded it. It'll download the punkbuster files and you'll be Good to go.

4.The Crack type thingy
Alright, now download the 1.7 Private Client Patch. Place it in the game directory and ALWAYS RUN AS ADMIN ON WIN7 or VISTA!!!!!

5.The CDKEYS and Servers.
Alrighty, almost done. You want a CD KEY From the "DOWNLOADS" section. And then, get a server IP from "server" section. Now Start up the 1.7 Private Client Patch, then start up CODWAWMP.exe. Go to Option> Multiplayer options and add your key. Make Sure "Console" is enabled as well as PUNKBUSTER.

6.JOINING A SERVER!
OKAY. Smarty pants, LISTEN...or READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A BIT CONFUSING.PRESS F3. AFTER THAT YOU MUST
PRESS THE '~' key. Yeah, that one. Type in "Connect xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx" REPLACE the X' with your ip. PRESS ENTER AND IMMEDIATELY PRESS F4 after that. Re-read this thoroughly as it is confusing.

7.ENJOY!
You can now join your server :D HAVE FUN!

Unfortunately, there aren't that many servers and I'll get to that in a moment.

KNOWN ERRORS.

Okay. The "UNHANDELED EXCEPTION CAUGHT ERROR" Can be fixed by
:How to fix unhandled exception caught.
go into control panel and then hardware and sound....then go into speakers....then the default speakers should be enabled....double click on it or right click and then properties. go to advance and make sure ur default format is the first 24 bit studio quality....that should work....its the sound fix. Also, you can re-install the game.

Alright guys, so the main reason I made this was 'Cause I wanted this game to get some popularity. There ARE no Paki Servers for WaW. WaW is a really under rated game. It's one the best CoDs made. It's as good as, if not better than CoD4. So I hope this will work for you and that in the future we will see some 'PTCL GAMING' Servers for CoD WaW. Together we can revive this game. URAAAAH!

Hm, the patches are kinda big. Does this REALLY work? If so, please post some screenshots. Don't worry about the ping. Just join an international game and show us. I don't want to download some gigs just to find out this doesn't work.

Hell yes it works! Why would I just make such a long thread for nothing? I'll post screen shots soon (ETA 1-2 days). But if you follow the steps correctly, it'll all be fine. ;)

^ Yeah, exams are itching me too. If you want, you can go to youtube and search for a crack there. That's where I learned to get WaW!

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
