how to maximize performance on laptop

I have a dell xps 15 which I assumed was a beast of a machine but even a simple game such as besiege lags when I try and run a big enough machine in the game. When I run the task manage while the game is running, it shows that the game isnt using a lot of resources. I changed my power plan to high performance and laptop is being charged while I play. What to do to make the game use more ram, video memory and cpu power?

THE screen res is the biggest issue here , gt 750m cant even handle games in 1080p properly,..

i think 1366x768 or 1920x1080 will be your laptop's recommended resolution...try games on that recommended resolutions with high settings...i think it will work fine don't go for 3200x1800...its damn huge resolution

I recently got dell 7537 i7 16 gb with 2gb 750m. The laptop max resolution is 1080p n it is ma sha Allah quite fine with running gta 4 on 1080p

it's requirements are low , try running other games in 1080p high on 750m, I am having issues even with a gtx 850m with some 1080p games

bro at 1080p u cant even get stable 30fps with a gtx 980m !
750m is a kid against that card .. play at 1366×768 and lower the settings to lowest .. + also lower population variety etc . hope it helps

JFYI On GTX 980M I Got 40-60Fps on Max Settings at 1080p.

GTX 980M Is Only A lil Lower in Performance Than a GTX 970 (Desktop Ver).

980M is slower than a 970 and its a fact.

i knw bro but not from lil margin ..but yeah if 26% performance difference is a little margin :D
i'm myself into gaming laptops as uni life + hostel = No desktop pc ! i was thinking of buy sager np9337 with gtx 980m but after seeing its performance i was rather happy to buy an msi gs30 + gaming dock :)

You know what ? Population variety doesn't affects fps for me atleast + msaa was on 4x [emoji14] actually gtx 980M Matches or beats GTX 770

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
