How to connect xbox 360 to 2.1 speaker and LCD Monitor

Hi,

i am stuck in a very pathetic situation, i have 2262VX view sonic LCD 22 inch (Super HD not full HD), it connects with my xbox through HDMI-DVI converter cable but i cannot connect my 2.1 edifier x600 speaker to xbox 360, i have tried to connect it through the VGA cable which comes with the audio inputs BUT the sound is tooooo feeble and the resolustion is very degraded as well.

please help in configuring the audio alongwith the converter cable.

jawad. i play my 360 on monitor and 2.1 speaker. i use the normal vga input for the monitor and for the speakers i purchased an 'rca converter' which are readily available in the market. it converts the two rca inputs of the xbox cable to 1 3.5 mm line which goes into the speaker. Here are some pictures of it.

Either get another VGA cable or a component cable,use the HDMI for video and break the cover of the component/vga cable so you can connect that in the other slot since you can't do it without the cover being broken since they both take up too much space.I'm currently using a HDMI to DVI connection with the VGA cable for audio.

p.s if you do it with a component one then your 360 will take about 20 secs to boot up but this isn't the case when you're taking sound from the VGA cable.



See the upper one which is either Component or VGA you'll need to break it's cover for both to fit,use the upper one for Sound and the lower one i.e HDMI to DVI for Video or get a superior quality VGA cable.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

    PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
