According PG top dogs of HW

RAZER BEST HAI BEST HAI GO FOR DA IF YOU DEEP POCKETS!

@OP

I'm afraid but it won't get fixed keep reverse counting the days it will die eventually. The same started happening to my DA (first it was the left click then the right click when i tried to open it the body got broken it was like a paper literally)

Try opening it and clean the buttons with Alcohol. Might work!

RAZER ONZA died on me within few weeks first it was the buttons then the analog sticks themselves.

I'm waiting for the guys who bought that 'The world's first TRUE gaming laptop' BS! to cry & moan over their 2800$ lappy.

Razer products are not durable in general. If you want durability along with performance, then invest in Logitech.

Regarding the mouse; it is possible that the spring beneath the left button of your mouse is not working properly.

Mouse life really depends on ur use, if u care for ur mouse, means if it remains on table without falling down, or not used by kidds etc, it will last long!
however as far as double clik is concerned, it,s a genuine fault in some mice, like microsoft intelli 3.0
i have been using DA since 8-9months, its working perfect !

this double click problem happend in my Microsoft intelli 3.0, it was so easy to fix it,
i opened it and changed the position of click means shifted the MOUSE SCROLL click to left click and left click under the mouse scroll,(done it with the help of a professional repairer)
and ya it worked fine like a charm !

I can fix this problem. It requires a small bit of soldering work. I fixed my friend's A4tech mouse' click this way. The mechanism is the same inside, same mouse button component. I just need to solder and remove the affected one, and put in a new one.

This would require me opening the mouse.

Like the other guy said, welcome to world of Razer.

Now I own a Imperator and a Lachesis, both of them have almost the same problem that you have described, my left button double clicks. Now there is one fix but a temporary one and that is to clean the click button with Alcohol(pour a couple of drops over it and leave it to dry for a few minutes) that seems to fix it for a while.I've tried oil too and that also fixes it for a while but now I'm thinking of trying WD40 :D I'm also thinking of going extreme when I get spare time and remove left click button from the Imperator and replace it with the properly working right click one from the Lachesis.

Other then this I own a Lycosa Mirror and its keys break from inside.Have replaced many such as the R and the G button with F keys :/

After this experience of mine, I rather buy A4Tech then waste money on Razer.

We ain't hating for no reason. Razer is crap in matter of reliability. It does work 6 months or even a year and when it works, No one can beat there mouse but (The 1 year time period is for the chinese gaming mouses too which we can get usually in 1-2k MAXIMUM) So why waste money on the RAZER shits when they're NOTHING reliable?

Mod Notice: Lets not make this thread about "Razer Products Not being Reliable"

Multipaki! This is a common problem with Razer Mice and unfortunately it cannot be fixed. You can ask Shary if he can do that, and logically ... he is right. Because the problem emerges NOT in software/firmware but in the hardware somewhere.
Speaking of hardware, i am not talking about the "Clicking Mechanisms" but the PCB inside the mouse (which handles the commands sent through that mechanics) Any person with little technical knowhow may repair this.

But generally speaking, i have not been able to repair any Razer mice i have owned.

If you are comfortable with soldering, I can write a small guide on how to fix it. (its extremely easy but can destroy your mouse if done incorrectly, like I destroyed my joystick just a month ago due to carelessness haha)... :) It will require you to just open the mouse, solder and remove a small component, buy a shitty mouse for 50 rs, remove its clicking component using the same way. Use the shitty mouse' component and solder it properly on imperator.

I have found Imperator's opened pictures, I am writing a guide.
