HELP NEEDED: Tablet around 20K.

Asalam o alaikum, all.

These past few week, i've been researching over tablet computers.
I wanted to ask whether tablets are productive or are a waste of money?

Second, if they're productive, which one should i buy?
7 vs 10.1 vs 9.7in
(I'm an Android fan but size-wise I personally prefer 9.7)

I have around 20K. When I researched online, i found that the "branded" ones cost way more than this price range.

What are your thoughts about Ainol?

Ainol Novo 9 Spark Firewire 1.5 GHz Quad Core 2GB Ram Retina IPS Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 9.7 Inch 16GB Dual Camera Tablet Pc - Pakistan
Also look for Ainol Hero 2 & Captain.

Get a 1st Gen Nexus 7 or a Galaxy Tab 3.

Don't even think of ainol their tablets are crap.
get a 1st gen nexus 7 or samsung tab 3 as murtaza12 suggested.

Ainol tablets are great, one of the best i can say.. Personally 4 of my cousins including me have Ainol tablet and all are working flawlessly.

Like harronshaikh i have also used ainol tablets good for a budget tablet but if you have the cash then i would say galaxy tab 3.0 its available on homeshopping.pk for about 18k i think!

1st Gen Nexus 7 is the best tab in this price point. U can easily find a used 32GB for 22k or 16GB for around 19k.

My cousin has Ainol Novo 7 Crystal which he has been using for 1.5 years. Working flawlessly and the build quality is good too.

Congrats mate.... Ainol Novo isn't a bad brand. My cousin has been using it for one and a half year now and he had dropped it twice but still working well. Here guys usually degrade this brand.

It's a really nice experience. It came up with 4.1.1.
I installed Cynogenmod today. Got 4.3.1. It's really really cool and fast. xD

Not yet. I didn't get much. The files are pretty large. 3-4 hours internet connectivity is needed. D:

if you live in karachi go hyperstar their u can experince all brands tablets...last time when i was their i saw a intel andoriod tablet of price tag 18.5k but i can,t experience it because it was out of stock

The thing is Hyperstar has less variety.
I went to Shopnshop.pk's shop in Atrium Mall to experience the tablet.
