help needed in making new rig

im building a new rig, but will use only a few components, as i want to use old existing with new ones as well (due to budget, which is around 40-45k )

anyways, here are my specs & my ?s will come later

Mobo - Asus B85M-g = 9600
Processor - Core i3 3210 = 11700
power Supply - Corsair vs550w = 6100
Casing - Corsair Graphite 300R = 8700 OR
- Cooler Master Cm Storm Scout 2 gunmetal grey - 9800
Ram - 8gb vengeance 1600mhz = 8700

all dese rough up to abt 46k


i dont need to buy new hard drive, as my 2tb is enough... for now

my ?s are
1... has anybody used the corsair PSU iv mentioned? how gud is it?coz iv read reviews & more of a standard psu den even alil gud for games etc
2... will my 5850 gpu bottleneck the graphics with the new haswell mobo or not? coz so far, its been really gr8 for me, the gpu i mean... so iv not really lukd into buying new one, unless suggested

3... are dese specs the best i can do with for 3rd generation setup? coz i want the casing to be as it is


please do suggest me alternatives, if u think dese specs arent gud enough or too much

The mobo and processor are not compatible. Mobo has socket 1150 whereas cpu is LGA1155 socket. Reconsider.

i guess, haswell setup is out of the picture as drs only core i5/i7 procs & dr expensive, which obv means out of my budget

Core i5-3330 Rs~18k
MOBO Gigabyte H61-DS2 (B3) or Intel H61WW Rs~5.5k
Same PSU as u chose
Don't spend heavy on casing Rs 2k max
RAM Kingston/Corsair 4GB DDR3 Value Select 1333Mhz (u can upgrade to 8 GB later on) Rs 3.5
That makes around 35k so according to the specs u chose u have 10k remaining plus assuming u can sell your current GPU for around 10k get the HD 7850 Royal King from Club3D for around 20k

Get the Xigmatek Asgard 328 and Xigmatek Tauro 500W for a combined 10.5k....also get saada 1600MHz Corsair RAM 8 Gb i think it will cost you 5000

I have not personally experienced Haswell so not in a position to suggest you. However, for gaming, I recommend you to buy a Z68 OR Z77 Motherboard of Asus, Asrock OR Gigabyte and buy a used i5-2500K. It will suffice yoru requirment.

also will it make a difference if i get 2x 2gb low profile, 1600mhz corsair vengeance rams?? dr priced @ 2800/- for both modules!performance wise wil it b gud??

m almost done wid deciding so last min calculations are on board

i am using gskillripjaws rams 1600mhz and new bought for 2850 4gb so why u are getting those expensive ram when they cant gave u any visible performence gain
i am in same situation like u that haswell i3 isnt available yet as i am eagerly waiting for it
leave that supply and buy xigmatek tauro 500 or 600 watts
if u want i5 then h61 is the only choice and if u can manage with i3 then b75 or lil higher works for u save money from this (not buying i5) and spend money on stuff like case bcz it matters a lot but even if u want to save more haf 912 is for you for 7.8k

So u already have CM 431 elite?also why would u need to change the case at all? And as far as the Corsair 2x2 GB go it better to get a single 4GB stick so that u can upgrade to 8 GB later on by adding another 4GB also you wont benefit from 1600MHz RAM unless u want benchmarks and if you are making the rig for gaming don't compromise on the CPU,GPU or PSU especially if its for the casing rest is upto u. Just my 2 cents

proc - i3 3.2ghz (3210) - 11900/-
mobo - asrock b75m - 7500/-
psu - thermaltake 530w modular - 5400/-
casing - xigmatek asgard 382 orange - 5000
ram - corsair vengeance 1600mhz 8gb - 6700/-

total 36500/- + 1000 for shipment!!

if u agree , let me know, for me dis is the best i can do with.. for now!
