Once in my university days when i was working part time in news paper . I get an interview with ptcl official . the guy education is like that : certification of some so called telecommunication > inter > metric . job designation admin in i.t department . and i cut the interview after 10 min conversation because the guy even don't know about the current dsl connectivity that either via Pakistan to Europe or Pakistan via Asia or rest of the world .

well point of mentioning this scene is when PTA give job on dammit parchi based and select such incompetent people what will gona happen . as in current scenario when gov.t told PTA to block youtube or before that all porn site what action did pta take ??? we all know they just F+++ up there latency because they don't have competent people who can block or hack these porn site or now youtube . and due to this latency those who want to use net for gaming or learning purpose they suffer that's it . and at the end PTCL is like :

where they just lock there self in cage . and think that they get rid of a danger.​

youtube blocked there were some usefull guides and videos for gaming there plus movie trailers nto to mentiond game trailers ! ahhh

actually there whole organization is filed with such people they even don't have capability to trace and block domain what else we can expect from them . they are like instead of destroy there enemies its more easy to destroy to destroy there own self or like 3 monkey of "Abuses will lead to banhi ji" dont do bad , dont look bad , dont say bad and ftw losers .

I dont care about youtube. I care more about google+, google docs, google books, google play store, gmail and google translate. these are the google services that were blocked with youtube that are important to a lot of people including me

they mess up with every thing i used to play a Turkish third-person shooter but as they decrease there latency to Asia "only" i can't login to my account and more over when try to open any other region base web site so i am like alien because i don't know there dammit language and google translator is not available . FK . those PTCL JAHILS don't care about others . because they think that whole population use internet just for fun they forget the study purpose of it .

Absolutely wrong. A guy who has been assigned the work to take care of the DSL network in a particular area / street or sector has no concern where from and through which route / marine cable the connectivity arriving to Pakistan. This is not his job. There are specific people in the company assigned with the task of international connectivity and they are very well aware of their job.

Regarding blocking and hacking, let me tell you hacking a website is a crime and government institutions will not be doing it being against the standard operating procedures. As far as blocking of websites is concerned, every website and every URL can be blocked by every service provider but this need orders from the government. These orders are conveyed by the Federal Govt through PTA and once orders are issued, blocking of sites has never been an issue.

Earlier, URLs were identified by a specific committee for blocking them through PTA. Last night, GoP has reportedly issued instructions that any website / URL containing blasphemous material should be blocked without waiting for any specific instruction / order. So if you still find any objectionable material on net, you can report it to PTA with address of the link / website and they will hopefully block it.

not to support these guys BUT i think its becuz youtube is owned by google so they blocked other google services in protest against google :/

whats the point of asking youtube to remove the vid anyways? even if they did remove it some1 cud just re upload it :/
