I know there is an official headphone thread, but I'll likely get a better response in a separate thread, so please don't meddle with it. Pretty please, Bwave <3

So I'm looking for decent headphones for around 1k. They must have balanced sound. I've tried some audionic and a4tech models and they all give an overproduced, overly-bassy sound. While these headphones are great for rap, electronic, dubstep music, they don't suit rock music.

So please suggest me some good cheap headphones that can preserve the raw crunchy harshness of distorted guitars and not muffle it out with excessive bass. Must be loud as well.

If you are in Lahore, goto Hafeez Center 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor there are many shops and they have branded and chinese imported headphones as well take ur cellphone with u with ur fav music and check each n everything headphone mostly 500 or 1000 price

Karachi se hi toh Lahore atay hain bhai lol :D Chinese headphones koi naam nahi hotay.. zingzang jensui type naam hotay hain.. but their sound quality is awesome in 1k

i need some good headphones too new/used within 2k, I plan to use them for gaming as well as listening to music. They should also have a builtin mic with good quality. Sorry for hijacking your thread Ben >_<

I don't want a gaming headset. I want it for music. It must produce a clear sound, not muffled by excessive bass.

BTW benighted go for AKG K44 will cost 3000~3500 rupees. Worth a take if you ask me.

Hijacking this thread for my own needs. I have a budget of 5-6k. Best headphones with clear as fuck sound? Like Benighted said, no bassy crap.

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
