HDD Problem....

Im using maxtor 250 gig sata 2 hdd.
I was resizing my partitions using norton partition magic and the lite went out (fu zardari).
So one of the partitions say G: whose size i was increasing got curropted.I want my data back badly so I messed around a bit,that I might get it back and I converted that drive to primary using norton.Since then norton has stopped working (gives error that it cant recognize drive letter),windows XP gives BSOD whenever I start it and so does XP setup , no matter which CD I try.Vista is working fine.

is that whole drive is corrupted ( you cant enter in that drive) OR was that the data which is corrupted?

The whole drive had gotten curropted,after converting to primary it just vanished.Now cnt even view that partition.And Xp wasnt on that driveb bt still showng prblms as mentiond.

Use easy recovery pro...it sgood software to restore raw, formated or deleted files.

recovery pro is a good software but if it does not work out , then ur data is gone , but i am sure it can get some of the data back , as the light went out if the initial blocks in the partation are damaged then i guess it all gone .
