hope you are doing fine guys

ok guys ive got an old wd 80gb hdd which has run its course and is dying now.it just fails to start alot of time and when it do it takes a lot of time fro win 7 64 bit with 4gb ram to even recongnize the drive well i know its dead
i have some pictures and some account information in it that i want to recover it would be merely 10 - 20gb thats the the stuff i want the most
i uses this recovery tool very good one but by seeing and reading on forums i have formulated that it will take atleast 4 days straight for the software to complete it research and salvage my data even when doing selected bits so heres the question to a guru

as i dont have ccontinous powersupply load shedding and 4 hours max in the night what should i do how should i recover my data anyone can help providing me the service or let me know the procedure that is shorter or atleast let me get some files out bit by bit you know i can do that every day little by little to get the useful one out

i cant afford to send it to those big companeis seagate and wd recommend for data recovery costing around 150 dollars to 2000 dollars come on man it is just 20 dollar hdd i know its a lifesaving and all taht but the only thing is there are some works of ssort created by my dad who is unfortunately is not with me anymore he passed away so that data 20 gb or less is imp for me on personal level and at the same time i cant afford 150 dllars and shipping

any solutions are welcome

1.faster data recovery tool
2.bit by bit recvery tool(linux and stuff i dk how to use a guide would be helpful but i cant read linux just dont have that much time nor im a guru)
3.continous 4 day supply to extract dat by that software

can anyone help me out

regards
a desperate son

actually it depend on drive. my friend had 80gb hdd with some bad sectors so he tried easues and it works well and he was able to recover data in about 3 hours. but remember you may be able to recover data for once so try only when you have guarantee that there will be no more loadshedding in next 2-3 hours.

hi sunny 945

there is no fast or slow option in this software

even if its software is taking so much time you should wait for a better time when there is no loadshedding because there isn't any other option for doing this IMO. as you have to recover data from a faulty hdd. and it is taking too much time may be because your hdd is much more damaged
