HBL Online Identity Scam

So first of all i got this this SMS from this number and i recently opened Bank Al Habib Account so i thought this must be true so i opened the webpage.



when i clicked this link this page opens up




Looked fake to me because i have a account in Bank Al Habib and this is HBL so i got suspicious the next page looks like this





so this is a identity scam and they will get all your personal information about your account so beware specially HBL users. [MENTION=2126]Jshak[/MENTION] please report this to cyber crime unit or something.

isnt something so big..

certificates...SSL certificates, screenshot you posted has no ssl connections. fake.
but don't think you can't have websites with SSL certificates used for scamming. always type url your self and remember urls of sites.

URL ko choro bank personell even official ones dont ask for ATM pin codes etc... so anyone asking for atm pin codes etc is FAKE remember that everyone

I would recommend you to report it to HBL , they wil ldo it strictly bcz they are using HBL's name

Apart of the design, the url looks suspicious, HBL had nationwide network and couldnt buy a first level domain :shifty:

Confirm such things with bank helpline. They will give u a confirmation about things. Just an advise

They will not send you msg via cell phone no.
before clicking any hyperlink just move your cursor to the "click here" and check the url on the bottom of your browser.
Fill up the form with fake information and the hacker will go nuts trying your info lol

My father got this message 2 month ago and I reported it to FIA ... and the site was down after 1 day..
they are keeping on making new websites ...

One simple rule, Banks never asked for your pins.

MCB has made it very safe by introducing OTP (One Time Password) ...
When you login at MCB mobile, they send you SMS contains password which you have to put at the site, then you can proceed ...
So even if you put your login/password here, no one can do anything to your account ......
