Over Clocked 3570k with as rock Z68 to 4.0 GHz stable 10 min Prime95 stress test
need more guide to overclock it to 4.5ghz and need some help with voltages also , people using different voltages with different setups on there motherboard, [MENTION=21647]nafu[/MENTION] [MENTION=1519]Voodoo[/MENTION] [MENTION=8932]Dark Sith[/MENTION]

"prime95 + ocing + weather" very hard task unless you have a cool room + excellent CPU cooler ...
don't try prime95 @ 4.5 GHz :)

3570K with Be Quiet Thermal Paste that came along with the shadow rock slim cooler and my room temperature 29-28 motherboard asrock z68 gen 3 :D

Yeah don't run prime 95 unless u wanna toast the cpu.
was thinking of running @4.5ghz but system crash instantly on boot

you can get to 4.5GHz easily with few voltage bumps. but really man you dont need to Run Prime95 in summer like this. too hot to sustained.

after 4.00ghz try ocing your cpu with Auto voltage when you reached to your maximum stable target lets say 4.4-4.5ghz, and you successfuly using desktop and can run benchmark like 3dMArk 11 physics complete. from now on, start reducing the voltage few bumps down. to reduce the heat generating from auto high volts. it automatically reduces temperatures as well.

turn of all C states in the bios / turn of speedstep / its crashing coz of low voltages hence un stable .

or ur chip is not able to cope with the over clock
