NUST is open merit, there are no quotas for any specific educational or provincial background. Also, they have their own entry test (not ECAT).What bothers me about NED and NUST is that if you're an A"level student ,there are limited seats for you .You can either opt for entry test (for which you will have to take ECAT) or take SATs (Which is another headache) .

You'll find studious, career-oriented people as well as shameless people wasting their parent's money everywhere you go. Where you fit in is entirely dependent on your own conscience and the kind of company you hang out with. Don't make it a factor in deciding which unis to apply to.How is the Parhai ka mahool in LUMS ? because AFAIK NED and NUST have the best Parhai ka Mahol
