i am getting a new PC and these r the specs and prices that i got from galaxy, plz advice for any additions or subtractions

Budget= 40k


1: Intel i5 2500k Rs:19900

2: P8H61-MLE INTEL H61 (B3 REVISION) (LGA1155) SOUND - LAN -VGA - DDR3 Rs: 7000


3: COOLER MASTER CHASSIS CM ELITE 334 WITH 420W POWER SUPPLY Rs:4700


4:

KINGSTON DDR3 4GB-1333 Rs:2250


5:

500 GB harddsik Rs:7000


Total : 40850




I have: Monitor,mouse,keybloard,speakers,graphics card

Special Note: wanted a motherboard that supports 1600Mhz RAM and had USB 3.0 ports but they are expensive...... whats the cheapest one that supports 1600 Mhz RAM?

you are not selecting some compatible components.
for processor core i5 2500k is good option
for mobo instead of this processor purchase a P67 processor a good quality P67 mobo is recommended but you can purchase msi p67 c43 if you are on short budget. it will cost you about 10k.
4gb KVR1333mhz = 2400
for hard drive i recommend you to wait for sometime because hdd prices are almost became double these days. so wait for 2-3 months if you can

Ans 1: Yes a P67 motherboard will support overclocking of processor. All the gpu overclocks by a software. (ATI catalyst) for AMD and (Riva Tuner) for NVidia.

Ans 2: No the motherboard will not play and role in direct x but H67 and Z68 chipset will support graphics feature.

If you want to buy h67 or h61 chipset then i will suggest you to get i5 2400. It is a beast for its price.

But if you want a one time investment then get i5 2500k with p67 motherboard and decent (DX11) GPU.

bro the price difference is little in i5 2400 and i5 2500k only 2700 so i will get the 2500k

The MSi P67-C43 is the cheapest Overclocking motherboard available in the P67 Chipset in the local market, then comes the Asus P8P67.

But a better motherboard from both of these would be MSi's Z68A GD65 (G3) or the P67A GD65 available from over here.

1: MSI P67A-C43 (B3) ( how do i connect to LCD TV with no HDMI??? )

2: MSI P67A-C45 (B3) ( how do i connect to LCD TV with no HDMI??? )

3: H67MA-E45 (B3) ( has HDMI 1.4 )

unless there's a fourth better one in this range???

and bros what is the cheapest Z68 board available?

MSi P67A-C45 is a low-end P67 board, the reason why they've removed features of HDMI,DVI,VGA, SLi etc.

Unlike the C43, the C45 does have Heatsink's on its VRM's for better stability through non-overheating and would be best in the list you've mentioned.

All boards these days are coming with the B3 revision as B2 had manufacturer faults in them.

yaar don't even think about H67 chipset motherboard. moreover if you can buy a used mobo then purchase a good used p67 mobo or get msi p67 but remember msi should be your last option as its a budget oc mobo

Bro both these boards have USB 3.0 and Support 1600 RAM and support overclocking so i am getting one of these

MSI P67A-C43 (B3)

MSI P67A-C45 (B3)

For the Intel Z68DB, only the Chipset is good But the motherboard is useless, in other word's it doesn't offer offer all those features and doesn't make full use of the Z68 chipset on that particular motherboard.

The MSi P67A-C45 (B3) although also offering lesser features like the ones I mentioned above, but its overall a much better motherboard, it has a better build quality.
