I've managed to land in this month's "Guru3D Rig of the Month"

Thanks to the efforts of @overboost, my communist PC "The Iron Curtain" has been awarded with Guru3D's Rig of the Month award.

The rig of the month of September was just announced and guess what ! Another one from Pakistan has won this award.

Congrats to Saqib Mansoor aka BOOM on winning the award for best rig for the month of September.

it really seems to me as a mediocre machine.. equipped with a 3rd Gen Hardware with a 7970 royal Ace... i agree it is a gaming PC but it is nothing near to what fanatics these days wish to accomplish by TriSLIing their 770GTX and more.. and the mod seems to be mediocre too although it's good but...

honestly i was expecting this sort of cash burning in the gur3Ds rig of the month.

btw on a serious note we should not spend more than our requirements.. any thing more than required is excess and it is a waste of resources.. i would like to give OP a credit for not wasting his resources, but yet i would like to add that even further way more savings could have been achieved while maintaining the performance.

None taken. This 'is' a mediocre machine when compared to most extremists out there. Did I have more money to burn? Yes I did but I didn't see any logic in doing that when almost every demand of mine was being met. I'm not one of those who are willing to spend $1000 more just so that their OC numbers are now 2% higher.

This system is now around six months old. I never posted it here nor sent it to Guru3D because I knew it wasn't something special for the masses; though it was to me. However, late last month I just sent in a mail and i got selected. Maybe Guru3d only had shit for applications this month so they went with me. I would consider myself lucky.

I agree to your point but not in sense of burning money. Mods must have been more unique, to me its just an average modded chasis, nothing new nothing fancy..
