If you are good at what you do, then there is no one who could take away your job..but then again,, it depends on your level of interest.
I would agree with you in regard that the value of simple bachelor's degree is somewhat limited nowadays.. But considering you like to do your work,, i would advise you to continue studying in accordance to your field. As you mentioned, you can do MBA in MIS.
MBA from a good institution like IBA usually guarantee's a job. So, you really need to make up your mind and study hard once you get in.

This is a little off topic but I'll have to disagree with what you're saying. A lot of jobs require some sort of repetitive work, a shopkeeper has to sit at the counter of his shop all day, a film editor has to sit infront of his computer all day, a site engineer has to spend time on their site all day, a Doctor has to sit in a Hospital or a Clinic all day, the list goes on and on, fact is you are payed to do a particular job, projects may be different but the overall process is going to be same, no matter what the field. That is something one should consider WAY before choosing their field of interest.

Yes, i must say that you are very right....., but just consider life of a Computer or Mechanical engineer vs a Software developer, the former ones are on a bit wider side, they actually require physical and mental work so that keeps your whole body in Harmony of work rather than the mental torture required for the software side, this actually cuts you off from a whole lot of things.......
