GTA IV stuck at lowest settings on my gtx 770 4gb

hello plz help me ,when i start game ,the game graphics set at lowest possible settings,and they dont allow me to change any setting,i played this game on my gtx 770 4gb and i tried every possible solution which is on net but nothing works,plz help me experienced member about this issue.

U need too upgrade to the latest version..of the game....update ur gpu and dx setup as well issue should be resolved...

i tried every command but it didnt fix graphics problem.

everything is update except game version but this will not fix issue i guess as i search whole google and didnt get any solution regarding upgrading game version.

win 8 and every game works perfect at ultra settings ,i am having issue only with gta iv graphics setting

graphics fixed after upgrading to new version but another problem arises,the graphics look very very even everything is at ultra and game is constantly lagging,i played watchdogs with a decent 60+ fps at ultra settings and also played many games at ultra ,only issue occur with gta iv,

The lag is quite normal as GTA IV is a bad port.
You've to keep adjusting graphic settings and find that sweet spot at which the game will be playable.

I think problem lies with the versions of game available, why not to try the games available on DVD ones rather then download it yourself. If you are too keen to to play this game make them try

i tried everything,downloaded reloaded version then skidrow and then blackbox but i think game is very poorly optimised,so its useless to buy dvds while we can download samething directly from private trackers.

you are right,btw my issue is resolved now because i just uninstalled gta iv from my pc

I did exactly what you did. After i upgraded from my ancient 8800gt to 7950. First game i tried was GTA 4 because I wanted to see all the eye candy at full specs. Even after all the mods ICE ENHANCER and stuff, the game lagged occasionally. Eventually i uninstalled the game....

i put every setting at ultra but the game graphics look likes it is at lowest possible setting,2nd thing is that game is lagging constantly,after wasting my whole day i decided to uninstall the game as this issue is never fixable i guess.

Not on ultra settings but I have been running in high settings

yes bro gta iv is only for 2gb vram gpu,gpu greator than 2gb vram cannot able to play game what really it is.so best and working solution is that just uninstalled the game and you are done ,this solution help me alot.
