GTA 5 Jtag external HDD help!

Hi Guys.

Please please help me with this game.
i have a RGH modified 4gb xbox. I tend to play my games from the external hard drive as no space in the internal.
For GTA5, I used a 16gb flash disk formatted in the xbox. I then injected the 4 files from the content folder of disk 1 via Horizon.
I have disk 2 extracted and put in my external hard drive.

As I boot up my xbox, I get the xex menu. I go to GTA on the external hard drive (where disk 2 is extracted), and try to load the game, but it gives me error.
At this point I have the flash disk in one USB and the external hard drive on USB port 2. What am I doing wrong?
Someone stated I should load via FSD. I dont have this. Can i install this despite not having a internal hard drive and run via USB?
Please please help me in what I should do.

What error u get? Kernel version must be at least 16202 or higher to get it work.

Guys, I just did as suggested and it still wont work!
I downloaded FSD and installed on my external hard drive. Went into XEX and opened up FSD. Changed the search path to the Games folder and set scan depth to 10.
Went to main FSD screen and I can see all games there. I click on GTAV and it wont open. It asks me error saying wont open and to download again.
Do I also have to set the the path to point to the 16gb flash disk or should this be to the external drive only in Games folder (which i have set)?

How do I know of this please? I know I put PES 14 yesterday and it works file. Just cant get GTA5 to work.
As stated before, i have injected the 4 files via Horison, and this sits in the flash disk. Do I need to point the path to this folder too?

Tried to play the game for an hour. It was 1st GTA , and it felt sooooooo boring.Deleted the game then . I think i am the only one in a few million who dislike this

Thank you for the help. I checked as system setting and it says the following D:2.0.14699.0 K:2.014699.0 (BK 2.0.1888.0).
Is this OK or will it need updating, and if so, how do I do that? Thank you

U need to update as ur kernel is 14699. U have to update to 16202 or higher. Its a little difficult process for first time. I updated yesterday but my xbox 512mb built in memory got corrupted and i had to format it resulting in loss of game saves and profiles. So it would be better to take it to the expert and get it updated. Still u wanna try u can follow the guide i am sending u in ur inbox but at your own risk.

Thank you for the help and advise. I have managed to update the nand to the latest version and the game loads, but then have a problem. The screen starts to flicker and wont go any further. what am I doing wrong now? Also, after the update, I have lost my avatar set-up, although the profiles are still there. Please help. Thank you

After alot of struggle finally got it to work, but now it's crashing like hell!, other games work fine.

Guys i also faced the same issue. Even i searched in on Google and nothing found in working. Below are my steps that i performed

*) Download the game from the torrent with the Quack Name
*) Extract both the Iso's with the tool name Xbox 360 Iso Extract.
*) Copy the DVD 1 Content folder with the name of 54 etc to the HDD/000000/
*) Copy the DVD 2 in to the USB
*) Put the USB in the Xbox console and tried to run the game from DVD 2 Xex menu and the game start and hanged after a couple of seconds and then console hang.
*) I check all other games are running fine.
*) I have the kernnel version of 16202.

Now can any buddy have the solution of it. I did not found any solution from google yet. Every one saying different thing.

Thank you guys for all the help provided. I copied the 4 files over to my flash disk using USBXTAFGUI instead on Horizon and the game worked file. Although Horizon copied the files file previously, I have no idea why it didn't work. Having copied the files with USBXTAFGUI, all is working well. Thank you very much all. Much appreciated

plug ur USB in Xbox360 console and go to settings storage and select your USB and CONFIGURE it... it will format it and make XBOX360 storage out of your USB .... ( since you dont have Jtag and I think no XEX menu so) download and install HORIZON FOR XBOX360 onto ur PC (google it to find it) now Plug your newly formated USB into ur Computer and open HORIZON it will automaticaly detect this USB now click INJECT FILE and go to disk 1 of ur GTA5 >contents>0000000000>000002>here 4 files are present select them all and INJECT them and wait for copying once done! put DISK 2 in ur X360 and plug USB in ur X360 and turn on console and hit PLAY GTA 5 and Watch THE WORLD BURN thorugh the eyes of TREVOR !!!!! opcorn2:

I have tried this but my Dvd only has Audio, video and upgrade folder no content folder was there :S

thats not possible dvd1 must have content folder... make an image of your dvd1 with alocohol 120 or any other software and extract that image u will get content folder..

I'm running it off of xexmenu, only use FSD when it's a game with multiple discs (as in game content spread across multiple discs, and requires switching in-between) since FSD does that automatically.

Absolutely no problem of any sorts so far.

can you please make a small detailed post on how to use jtag with multi disc , i have fsd 3.0 ..what else do i need ...and how to play games with multi disc with haveing to insert disc etc .

ok guys ...i have jtag / rgh console .and i installed the game from with xbl menu ..it installed the 1st disc ...

and can i also install the 2nd disc on to the xbox original hdd ...i hope it wont over write some thing ....coz i dont want to play from the disc.

why does gta v says in opening animation bank robbery scene failed to authorize disc --------

i have installed disc 2 on to the hdd --so why is it playing from the disc ................

this happened in ac 3 as well ..and then i had to install the disc from fsd 3.0 ..

do i have to do the same for gta v as well ...

i have installed disc 1 ..as it asked..........can i install disc 2 from fsd 3.0
