[SOLVED] GPU not giving display

Assalaamu Alaykum.My GPU isn't giving any display. When I try to start the PC the system reboots once after about 3-4 seconds and then nothing happens (GPU and system lights are on). GPU is shown in device manager when I use integrated display. I thought that the hdmi cable was faulty but that is not the case because windows doesnt load (I tried to check through teamviewer).(I havent been able to play any games in last 4-5 months so I was planning on selling the GPU. I have been using my PC for other works). MSI Gaming X GTX 1060 bought last year.

Anyone? anyhelp? can someone tell me a computer shop in Rwp where I can check GPU related issues. I dont have another PC to check this issue. Some shops on Adiala Road only know how to install windows for 300...

Nothing, sometimes the screen went off. I could hear the sound or screen activity. I would shake the cable, a restart would make it normal. Now its lights are on and fans spin but no display.

Why repairs are not recommended?

Repairs are usually jugars they come up with. So not worth the effort or money. Do you still hear sounds without display? Or does the computer freeze up during it? If you hear sounds, might wanna try a different cable. See if that helps. If it freezes and you have to do a force restart. It might be dead. What you can do to make sure is to go to market. Have someone test it on another PC with a sufficient power supply. If same issue, its dead. If it works, might be an issue with either of these things. 1. Motherboard Slot. 2. Wire. 3. Power Supply.

So... to repair and sell would be...ahem ahem. I will take it to computer shop and ...(My heart lol) if its DEAD it should stay dead.

Alhamdulillaah, GPU is working fine. PCI slot on motherboard is not working. Will be selling at ASAP. (As advised, I made sure to visit the computer shop and let it be examined by the knowledgeable person. No Haste! I made a right decision.)
