Hey, Had a old xbox 360 at home with LT-2.0 (I think - got done when FIFA13 first came out). Got JTAG on it a few days ago. Reading on this (and other forums, I have to say I'm overloaded with information). I have a few questions:

1. Hard Disk: Which to choose (internal/external/usb)? Can I connect a larger than 32 GB usb external drive? Will Xbox be able to use it? My preference is to get a 500 GB external HDD, so I can download and copy games to it directly from my laptop. Whats my best option?

2. XexMenu/FSD: Do I need them? I don't think Kiran Zone installed Xex into the console, so I have to do it myself. Whats the pros/cons? I just wanna play some free games, don't need the extra mods/themes etc. I'm assuming I will need XexMenu atleast.

3. Games: So when I download an ISO off the internet, is this the process: ISO2GOD->Copy to External->Play from XexMenu? Correct? I saw some torrents online for games already modified for JTAG/RGH consoles. What are those?

I'm living in a place where I don't have access to the 100 rupee CD for each game, so I have to download/install. Any more information in a noob-friendly manner is appreciated!

1. A solid yes! 500gb external hdd is the way to go.
2. These both are the must software to play on jtag.
3. Yea. Those files doesn't need to be converted. Just put them in the hdd.
Alright. Got a 500 GB WD Elements. Connected it to XBOX, formatted it. (32 GB space shown in xbox). Now made a content/16 0's/C0DE9999 folder on the drive. plugged back into xbox. Now can't see the XexMenu under games. What am I missing?

You need to format that hdd to fat32 format from pc. When you're done, read this thread!

Thank you Hassan! Found the thread yesterday, and got it to work, finally.

One more question: I find two different types of xbox torrents at the tracker I use.
1. ISO files.
2. Jtag ready files.

Could you give me a quick method for both? I know I have to place them in the HDD eventually, but is the method different for both? Also, will I see both type of games in FSD?

Thanks again.

for the iso, put it in Content/16 0's/*Here* while put jtag ready file straight to hdd i.e. with content folder.

fyi, The adv of jtag ready files is that those games can be played directly from xexmenu
