Wanted a secondary phone, mostly for office use and other stuff. Always been a fan of Pixel phones. You can pick up a Nexus 6P and it will still blow away the trash that is Galaxy S8 and S9. So the Pixel 2 XL is just lightyears ahead of any Android phone out there. Complements the iPhone X really well.

Ordered it from abroad and got it a few days ago. Got the official Google case for it as well. It's a lovely phone. Stock Android beats anything else out there. The camera is the best on any phone, beats even the iPhone X in many cases. The display is better than what was portrayed online. The initial batches had issues, but they have more or less been resolved at this point. It's no iPhone X or S9 quality, but perfectly fine none the less.

Oh, and did I say it runs stock Android 8.1? Oreo is just delicious.

more or less the same. Neither are as good as my old iPhone 7 Plus. Best part of Pixel is the consistency with the battery life, which you wont get with any other OEM with a custom skin.

Sure, you can pick up a Nexus 6P, no guarantee that it actually turns on though.

Well obviously it does. They've both got tons of defects.

The only thing I can agree with is the fact that it has the best camera on any smartphone right now. Even better than the GS9 cause of Google's HDR+, which will be ported over soon enough so there's really not much that anyone's missing out on.

Pixel, like the iPhone, will be at the top of the priority list when it comes to news outlets reporting on its issues. And like almost always, it's overblown. I had the Pixel 2 XL briefly back in December and I have it now, I do not face any issues at all. I have literally zero issues with the iPhone X, which I've had since November. Don't believe everything you read on the internet and learn to filter the hyperbole from reality.

i dont think its something to be used as secondary phone but everyone has there own choice(y)

I switched from note 8 to Pixel 2 XL too. its an amazing phone with very good battery life and BEST camera in the industry right now. Are you using any screen protector on your device?

Yes, but it doesn't fit perfectly well because of the useless curvature of the screen.

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
