College is starting soon and I need a new bag. Something that's spacious enough for a couple of books and a Retina Macbook Pro. Budget is not an issue but I need quality that lasts a while.

I tried Nike and a few other shops but they had School bags with no padding at the bottom, so carrying a laptop is a no go.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I don't know if there are other brands available here, but original Targus' bags can be found in Al-Hafeez Plaza. I don't quite remember the exact shop number.

On the other hand, Hafeez Center only has local bags, but there are some very good ones in those. But price will be an issue. They will asking "gold's price" for something which is barely silver.

I have bought 3-4 handbags like these: http://www.horizonbag.com/uploadfil...ale-Black-Leather-laptop-bag-1329817005-0.jpg

These costed me Rs.1800-2000, and thats approx 6-7 months old price. Its not exactly like in the picture, but it was of very good quality. Raxine would be more appropriate. The bag alone weighs like 3KG so you can guess the quality. However it was very very difficult to find it because too few people had it, but everytime i was able to find it from "Basement of Hafeez Center".

Sadly, NONE of these bags have enough space to hold a few books along with a lappy :p So .....

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
